New Des Moines police unit helps officers fight job stress

In Nashville Tennessee, the police deal with stress by taking it out on the male citizens.When they kill one, or find one dead, they enjoy a circle jerk over the dead man's body.

While I realize that the cops sometimes do wind up with these stress related problems; they also abuse the "stress excuse" on a routine basis. Claiming that job related stress is the cause of anything and everything is the cops magic get out of jail free card and they play it routineley. Just as beauty is in the eye of the beholder; stress is in the eye of the one claiming stress. No one can be proven to be under stress with 100% accuracy. Who is to say if stress was really to blame for a cop overreacting to something; of if it is just a great excuse. If a cop beats the hell out of someone; he blames stress. A cop gets into an drunken car accident off duty: just blame stress. A cop beats the hell out of his wife or kid: just blame stress. A cop wants an extra week or two off with pay: just blame stress.

The fact that the FBI is claiming that roughly 1/3 of all cops have some sort of stress related problem, as reported in this story; either shows that the cops are under alot of stress or that many cops are bilking the system with phoney stress claims. Who is to say with 100% accuracy?

And, this story mentions an incident from June in Polk County where a cop shot a man with what he thought were safe beanbag rounds; but actually were not; killing the man. Has this cop been properly charged with negligent homicide yet? Or, are the cops just passing it off as an unavoidable mistake and no one is to blame? They use this cop as an example of a cop under stress as a result of his blunder killing a man. And, I use this incident as an example of another cop getting away with murder; if he has not been charged in this matter.
