I hope you all voted NO for the bond and NO for politicians who keeping putting bonds on the ballots. Get real City Council & County Commissioners and stop spending money that you don't have. You can bet I voted for a change!

I think the voters of Greensboro sent a clear message tonight about the incompetence of the city government and out-of-control crime in the Gate City in the past few years. Way to go, voters!

Municipal races in Greensboro are nonpartisan. Why does Fox 8 insist on referring to mayoral candidates by their personal party affiliation when it's not germane to this election?

holland4, because no politician should be able to run without it being known what party they're truly in including judges! In fact it should be illegal if you are in an office that the public votes for we have the RIGHT to know who you really are.

Stokesdale voters also rejected the election of Thearon Hooks, who has previously filed Chapter 7 personal bankruptcy to join two currently serving Stokesdale Town Council members, Cheryl Steele and James Attaway, who have previously filed Chapter 7 personal bankruptcy as well. A large mail and door drop campaign had largely alerted and educated Stokesdale voters about the Mr. Hooks bankruptcy. Research of other town governments around the country have indicated that Stokesdale has the "Most Bankrupt Town Council In America" with 40% of the town council members serving having filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

Kevin, It is a rare occasion when I vote for bonds, however with the science center, voting FOR was an easy decision. With the little they receive from taxpayers they have proven to be great stewards(remember, it's a private business and not a goverment owned money pit). This is not throwing good money after bad. We will receive a great return on our investment, isn't that what it's about. Plus, Bill Knight and Danny Thompson will find 20ml waste in this city without breaking a sweat.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Taurus

It's important that you leave yourself plenty of room to manouvres during the weeks ahead, as Mercury turns retro today, especially when it comes to making decisions and airing your opinions to the world. You need to be as flexible as possible right now, otherwise you could find that you've boxed yourself into a corner and have to do some serious back-tracking. You need to consider all points of view and not just your own.
