What Bill wrote: its about money its about *disarming the police* gun control laws have nothing to do with the public safety Don't you mean "disarming everyone but the police"? According to the gun grabbers, the police are the only ones they trust to have firearms. They may not actually trust them, but they need them to enforce their wacky, Socialistic laws.

At least one person who was a resident at the Mt. Carmel campus was an FFL holder, and I'd heard in the past that there might have been upwards of three. . They bought and sold used machine guns at gun shows, repairing and testing them at their property. . The BATF(E) called several times to conduct an inspection, and Koresh invited them. . The problem is that the BATF(E) never came around to actually visit the place. . Then they (BATF(E)) made up the story that they were denied entry onto the property. . Such a remark is specious simply for the fact that there were neither closed gates nor signs indicating 'no trespassing.' . The BATF(E) went so far as to fabricate that Koresh was a wanted man, but they never undertook to actually visit the campus, or even accost him on the streets of Waco, where he frequented several stores. . They have easily arrested him in public, and as much was revealed later in Congressional hearings. . The fact is just this: They were lawfully dealing in class III weapons and the BATF(E) knew just that.

We gun owners routinely say to one another that we have the "right" to keep and bear arms. Honestly, though: what kind of "right" do we have if we are afraid to use it? When we're afraid to make a purchase at a gun show, own an interesting collection of firearms, or effectively protect our own home and family, then we've already lost most of the right to keep and bear arms. There is one federal agency whose job is to instill fear into gun owners and dealers. That agency is BATFE. And JPFO wants to give them the boot. We're even putting together a film production that we think will help deal a death blow to this rogue agency! http://www.thegangmovie.com/

What wonderful (un)civil servants they are! Causing the murder of those poor INNOCENT children like that should have earned the leaders of that goat grope a long drop on a short rope. I am ashamed of the State of Texas for not arresting those so-called federal law ENFORCEMENT officers and trying them for the multiple murders that they caused.

The Texas Rangers did do an investigation and found no evidence of any wrong doing by the Branch Davidians. Of course you don't hear about that.

What must be gleaned from Waco is, bottom line, the Federal Government, because of an over zealous Attorney General (Janet Rinno)trying to help a federal agency (ATF) get publicity and at the same time "drum up support" for more gun control (the assault weapon ban)got a bunch of women and children killed.
It must also be noted that our current anti gun Attorney General (Eric Holder) was the assistant AG during that time frame and therefore should share in the blame for all of those unjust deaths.

Bill Smith wrote: <quoted text> Not to mention they made up the child abuse charges as well. Doesn't matter whether or not the child abuse charges were made up. To wit: Child abuse does not fall under federal jurisdiction, unless it occurs on federal property. The feds therefore can not charge anyone with child abuse unless it occurs on federal property, where the feds have jurisdiction. The charges were merely an unconstitutional excuse to do what was done.

I am just bringing to attention the fact that part of the same "crew" that was a player in the Waco disaster is now back in power. I know that most socialist don't see that as a problem, but I do.
