why do people make fun of others

Does it feel good to make fun of others? I don't understand why people want to hurt others. How could anyone live with themselves after they make fun of somebody. Sadly, there are some people who enjoy this. It makes them feel better to talk about someone and make fun of their imperfections.

We call this: INSECURITY..they make fun to make their miserable, bleek existence more meaningful..or so they think, which is why we don't/shouldn't care what they think..who's really the LOSER here? ;D

The quickest way to build yourself up, is to tear others down. However, building your castle upon that foundation ensures that one day, it will crumble.

But why be insecure? I have been there, because of a spouse who made me that way. Who didn't think I was important and never made me feel beautiful. One day I realized that it was doing me no good to feel sorry for myself. God showed that I am beautiful to him and that's all that matters. He said that we are all created equal, We are all beautiful, he loves us unconditionally, and it doesn't matter how you feel about yourself, or what others think of you, but that he loves each of us the same. Not more than the other, but the same, and he didn't make us perfect. We all have flaws. I can list my flaws and I'm not ashamed to admit them, because I know I have someone who treasures me and thinks I am worth something. Know that you are special! You are loved! You are worth something!

I think that spartan will agree with me ,that, real beauty is always on the inside.Snobs make me angry then i will remember that!

everyone is guilty of makeing fun of someone one time or another.Even its because of the way they look,act,spell,speak,ex.Most of the time if some one has been prevoked in this way they will do the same to the person who started it.Two wrongs dont make a right,but what comes around goes back around.Usualy nobody cries about it until its their turn.And if u let it bother you,then you give that person power over your being.

people can sense if the kindness is fake or not...so make sure its sincere

I can assure you, if I am kind to someone that it is for real, there is nothing phony about that. You can usually tell if someone is a phony. Their true colors will show.

i was typing about people in general,,im sure you are a kind person..many of us try to be all we can be as a good person

Nothing pisses mean people off more than either ignoring them or being universally kind constantly..eventually, they'll realize they can't win and move on to the next one on their radar..sad existence really.. xD

I respect your belief & opinion; however, not all believe in God and no matter how much you make it sound wonderful..sadly, we can never change others. Frustrating? Yes... Inevitable that people will always have conflict...Indefinite. ;)^_~

people make fun of others because they don't like themselves or they think they are better than everyone else. Maybe both!

I had a girlfriend that used to make fun of people for what reason I do not know. She was angry and sincere when doing so. It could be a person that she knew or didnt know. She would do this in front of the children two hers and two of my own, sad to say her children are the same way. I tell mine that it is incorrect to act that way but at times it would rub on us and I would stop it ASAP. I beleive she is a miserable person. She says she has alot of confidence but I beg to differ with her. She says she is a good person, I beleive she is not a kind,nice,good or genuine person. Im glad i left that miserable company. To much negativity.

People make fun of others because they are insecure, or unhappy. Maybe both. Nobody should be made fun of period. I don't understand it myself. People really look stupid making fun of others imperfections when they have some of their own.

That is the truth.. People should always lift others up and not tear them down.

making fun of others is evil! If you are doing it for the pleasure of hurting someone's feeling's, you are evil.

awww hell, people are gonna make fun of others forever. They think they are still a kid in grade school or somethin, so they make fun of others before somebody makes fun of them. It's wrong but true. I make fun of myself to save em the trouble,lol
