An armed citizenry is the answer, yet,
The United Nations and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are moving forward with their plan to confiscate your guns.

The United States joined 152 other countries in support of the Arms Trade Treaty Resolution, which establishes the dates for the 2012 UN conference intended to attack American sovereignty by stripping Americans of the right to keep and bear arms.Read article here: http://nationalgunrights.org/blog/...

From today's Alexandria Town Talk:

AURORA, Colo.— A gunman wearing a gas mask set off an unknown gas and fired into a crowded movie theater in suburban Denver at a midnight opening of the Batman movie "The Dark Knight Rises," killing 12 people and injuring at least 50 others, authorities said.

Can you just hear the clamor of those wanting to take our freedom away saying,, we must have MORE gun control since this shooting today happened?

Wonder why that cowardly gunman didn't go to a gun show where many more people are congregated? Could it be he could expect to find some expert shooters with guns to be there? Wonder if he thought any of the children in the theater would be armed? Of course he is a coward going into a theater where no arms would be expected.

This horrible act by a lone gunman should make every citizen want to be armed to curtail such acts. The video of a 71 year old man that thwarted an armed robbery in Florida is heartwarming because he not only protected private property but probably saved many lives. This act could have been in any movie theater, resturant or mall. The place is not important to a killer. Some people are just evil. I don't think he was in the crazy catagory because he protected and armed himself so well. That takes thought.
Some people will disagree but when they took prayer out of schools, and started all this trying to be politically correct about everything and everyone the country has gone to hell in a handbag. We raise kids with no morale value. Then we wonder why they act like monsters. I don't know about this mans life or how he was raised but there must have been something, some sorta warning sign.

He appeared to be intellegent but just evil. Sounds like the discription of some politicians also. Sorry, I will hush. God Bless the ones killed and injured. Lord be with their families.

It's a shame only 1 person had a gun in that theater. Taking guns away will not deter any criminal, only encourage them. An armed public at least gives everyone an equal chance and can deter criminals.

when a crime like this occurres and there is no doubt who done it, they should be hung within 3 days. no trial no lawyer just 3 days and hung. no movie or book deal no talking about this person in the media for months(which makes them a celebrity). if they know whats going to happen to them in 3 days and they wont be famous or talked about for more than 3 days it might make them pause. they kill a bunch of people then give up to become famous and dealt with for years. i say 3 days then hang them.

70 people shot in a movie theater. Only the criminal had a gun and killed and injured many. All you liberals that want to take guns, stop and think if citizens were able to carry guns it might not have happened or at lest not with the same results. The government cant protect you, the cops cant protect you, but armed citizens might.

There is no “justice” in doing away with the due process of law. You have to give him his day in court. Now after a speedy trial, then HANG HIM IN PUBLIC if he is found guilty. There is no need to throw out the Constitution just because someone commits a heinous crime.

Daily Horoscope for May 20

Taurus

If a friend has been bugging you recently, you are likely to have a few sharp words with them today. However, least said soonest mended, so don't labour the point or turn them against you. Besides, you have better things to do with your time now, such as taking part in a big gathering of likeminded people or having a long chat with one special person.
