My support goes to Judge Memeo and DA Mark Torvinen for a job well done. We live in a society that causes skepticism about our judicial system, but not in this case.

I agree with Torvinen, Kelly needs to be removed from society.

35 more years slapped on a life sentence without the possibility of parole will make sure Winston Kelly does not walk the streets again.

He was a happy family man who had a drinking problem and due to fate, ran into another like himself. He has three beautiful children whom he has supported during their very short time with him. They had the world at their fingertips. He was hardworking, made good money, and had many friends, old and young, of many colors. It is not only his life that has been impacted by this, his family suffers at the loss of this wonderful person especially his children.

Sorry, but the other who you refer to, was not a killer. He met his fate when he ran into a heatless person who wanted to steal his truck for the engine. The killer had no regard for human life, and cannot possibly comprehend the suffering of those involved because of a selfish and hideous crime he committed. Was he thinking of his own family when he pre-meditated this murder? Did he once think about the consequence of this crime?Didn't he have his own vehicle? Sure doesn't appear so. It was a ruthless and coldblooded murder. The killer felt he had to kill this innocent man and steal his truck for an engine. Thats really sad, and pitiful.

You do not know this person all you know is what came out in court. This man had three vehicles, he had a job where he earned a lot of money, he did not need the engine. His vehicle did not need an engine. Killing a man while defending himself is justified in god's eyes. Ask and you shall learn.

People who have no mercy for human life deserve to be sitting behind bars for the rest of their lives. In my opinion they are more than just a menace to society.

My father tried to help him, and in return, stabbed my father, and ran him over in his own truck. How dare you. How fu*king dare you. My dad was in his 50's and he wouldn't harm anyone. He tried to see the best in everyone, and that's what got him killed. And a friend of mine was dating Winston Kelly's girlfriends son. And even he said that Winston was an abusive as*hole, who constantly went to work drunk.

You never knew my father, my father never would've hurt anyone

whatever that's why you guys had such a happy family life and that's why the only picture in the papers was a jailhouse mugshot. well the girlfriend did not know winston and besides her whole life is based on lies i could tell you a few stories about her too, the son wasn't even around he lived in another community with his fathers family (who also cannot stand this "girlfriend"). She came along after the fact (like one year later). He did not constantly go to work drunk either, like I said she doesn't know but we know her well. Anyone who wants to can read any of the statements of people involved in this and see what the old man's ex-wife said about him. It's all public record!!!!!!

You support a killer, and you justify his actions.
There was no reason for MURDER.

Did you see the surveilance tapes also? No, you did not.

Did you see all the evidence? No, you did not. The evidence is what convicted that man.

You come here and try to accuse this family of things to discredit them? They have the transcripts also, so do you come here to cause trouble for a family who lost their dad to a heartless killer?

You cry racism and unfair trial. No, the trial was fair, and a killer has been removed from society.

If a man can kill another, who is to say he won't kill again? I have heard that the second time comes easier. What do you think about that.

Should justice have taken a risk to find out if this guy would kill again?

Is this the type of people you would allow your children to hang out with? One who has murdered?

Murdered for a truck engine? Ask yourself. What kind of person would do such a thing of this caliber?

Was he a man who loved his neighbor? Or was he a man who complained all the time about others, you know, the tough guy attitude. Well, tough guys don't impress me.

I think tough guys need to compensate for their lack of other things.

A humble man shows strength as he displays a quality that is admirable, and of deep respect for others around him, a special quality not seen in many people.

I hope you find peace in your life. This has been tragic for both sides....,but more so for the victims of this crime.

Until you have walked their shoes, you will never know the hurt and loss within their hearts over this.

You on the other hand can still visit your friend in prison. Be thankful at least for that.

This family will have no more visits with their dad because someone decided he didn't deserve life.

Maybe a little empathy would help you to understand how they feel.

There is no reason to lie, is there?

You better re-read those transcripts, because you don't seem to have a clue.

You also might read the newspaper articles also, because this murder was pre-meditated.

I agree. We should all be able to feel safe walking the streets.

Unfortunately our world is not like that.

Yeah, they are a menace because we not only have to watch our backs, but we have to support them in prison also.

this just goes to show how little YOU know about everything. Mr sobbing son's friend also told her boyfriends family that the son had mentioned that his dad did not like him at all because of his sexual orientation, why do YOU think he was kept out of the trial???? Do you think maybe he has some respect for god and the law that he would not lie on the stand under oath that his own father hated him. and its not too smart to pretend to be two or three different people on line especially when your isp address is the same!!!!!!!

For one, this young man's testimony was not needed in the trial.

If you need to argue with someone, maybe you should contact the judge and the defense attorney, and also the jury members.

You are trying to discredit a family member in a biased, hateful, and prejudiced manner.

You state lies against the family of the murder victim.

Your attempts at malicious slanderous accusations are not above the law.

If you continue to harass any member of the victims family, you will be reported and possibly prosecuted.

If you have any further problems, then take it to the District Attorney.

I am not a man...,and yes, I know about both sides.

I also know you are an angry young girl who is unjustly blaming the victims family for the killer's imprisonment.

Justice has been served......so get on with your life.

Be thankful that you can visit him in prison.

The victims family doesn't get that luxury.

the victims family has.

Well missy, I am related to this family....

not your family thank God.

Maybe you should spend more time visiting that horrid man instead of coming here to shoot off your mouth at the ones who had nothing to do with the viciousness of that Kelly dude.

He is where he belongs.

Commit the Crime.

Do the Time.
