Why is the national governmet involved in the water issues of the State of Nevada? If any body involved in this can show Constitutional authority for this I, and the news papers invloved in reporting on usurpation of governmental authority should be informed. If no Constitutional authority then the people conspiring to steal the water in Nevada should be prosecuted personaly.

The national government owns 85% of Nevada. In addition to their ownership the feds have broad constitutional authority under the commerce clause where activities like water allocation affect interstate commerce. There are other powers too, like environmental laws, federal/state compacts and a ton of other stuff.
