Lets not be unfair to pigs. The GOP gives token resistance to unlimited taxation; but when it comes to The States united, Lincoln (when he convened congress without a quorum) made everyone a slave on Uncle Sam's plantation.

If at first you do not secede, try try again.

I've never read so many disappointing entries in my life. Is there not one person who can honestly disagree with Dr. Paul and put it in a way that isn't just spiteful rhetoric and childish ramblings? I'm honestly embarrassed...thought there were more intellectual people in stp.
Socially, he's pretty liberal. Fiscally, he thinks our money should be spent wisely and cost-effectively. There's a good start... now go learn something more before responding again in such an angry and juvenile way.
If you knew of RP's stance on affirmative action and aggressive diversity programs you would not call him a social liberal.

I'll listen to these two anytime over someone who needs to hear "YOU LIE" every time their lips move.

First, Obama rested the credibility of his presidency on what you might call the Dime Standard. He was flexible about many things, but not this: "I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficits — either now or in the future. Period."

This sound bite kills the House health care bill. That bill would add $220 billion (that's 2.2 trillion dimes) to the deficit over the first 10 years and another $1 trillion (10 trillion dimes) to the deficit over the next 10 years.

I heard a nasty rumour that Bachman was an affirmation action attorney at the irs. There are many useful idiots (empty suits) at most agencies. As for the irs, my favorite scene in Aaron Russo's "Freedom to Facism" is when the irs director yells at Aaron in Yiddish.

I read an article I think yesterday saying that the fed is going to print another 1.5 trillion dollars. So our moneys worth will again decline and prices will go up. And instead of auditing the fed,,,they will give them more freedom and more power.

Time for a lecture, Joe.

I can type any number of ways and so can you. It's easy if you try.

Your comment "I see you never finish english class" made three gross errors and could be written quite a bit differently for clarity - hit your Strunk and White and try again.

"Rant" - maybe, "lies", please let me know what of the following you find in error; that the stimulus was $780,000,000,000 give or take a ten billion or that we "created" money supply of $2,000,000,000,000 in order to "help" liquidity. Do your homework.

I think it's great we have a black President, it's just too bad he's a socialist who will create many of the programs that tell the black community, "you can't so the Government will for you." Frankly, programs like this are nothing but "plantation politics" and are a form of of "hate and lie" as well as racism that should appall all clear thinking citizens, including you, Joe.

In closing, I find Obama AND THE REST OF CONGRESS (read my post again) lacking the imagination, the courage, and the wisdom to lead America out of the economic mess that we find ourselves in. I would suggest that you get yourself a fact based arguement because race baiting doesn't cut it.

Ron's message of freedom and personal responsibility resonates with many, but its damn scary to sheeple. Thanks for not going. I know there are a lot of bachmann haters, and I was relived that the attempts at heckling did not disrupt the event.

As far as the protesters not being covered by the media, 15 people chanting slogans for 10 minutes is not quite as newsworthy as two members of congress meeting the public. The chanting ended before I could really get over there to take a look and the protesters went inside. I assume its because there were no media cameras to play to, so the 'protesters' sat passively inside the auditorium for 30 minutes before the show started.

I did note that a journalist from the U of M daily was talking only to pro-national health care people, so presumably the protesters got good press there.

We need your wonderful commen sense approach to things to bleed in to Washington DC. It's really getting bad there and we are all worried with this rediculous administration.

Of course she doesn't want them to have welfare.

Does anyone really want to have people on welfare? Oh, that's right, that's how Democrats buy votes. Make people dependent on the government.

My bible says to help those who can not help themselves. I have no obligation to give a dime to those who will not help themselves.

Just because Dr. Paul thinks that people should be judged on individual merit and not some arbitrary, government issued "scoring system" doesn't mean he's not socially liberal. In fact, I would argue that it would make him MORE liberal. And "aggressive diversity programs"??? Honestly, sounds like a program implemented by Stalin...it really scares me.

Mike, I am guessing that you're a person who couldn't hold a debate without calling the other person a bad name. And that's just sad.

Maybe you should do more Bible reading and less posting. But doesn't the Bible also say???(1 Timothy 5:8)“But if anyone does not provide for his OWN, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is WORSE than an unbeliever.”

and

(2 Thessalonians 3:10-15)“... If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat"

So much for your welfare argument
