The story about Bachmann and Ron Paul at the U of M certainly was unbalanced. The many audience members who rallied in front of Northrup prior to the event in support of healthcare reform was not mentioned. And the many audience members who obviously disagreed with Bachmann and Paul were not mentioned. How about a little balance in reporting?

It was an enjoyable evening. There were a handful of obamacare advocates there who made half-hearted attempts at heckling. I presume that is where the negative quote came from.

If one looks at Ron and Michelle's voting record, it is abundantly clear that they are not voting for the budget-busting legislation, but the obamacare types understand that the goverment is a magic unicorn who has infinite resources and fixes everything it touches.

Our new minnesota republican party chair was there and I wonder to what extent he will tolerate the ron paul branch of the party. Ron Cary did all he could to minimize them, but surely it must occur to republicans that the libertarians have a lot of passion and the rino approach has cost them national leadership as well as our republican senator.

Well at least the liberal side aren't dopes.
They would rather stay home and be smart
citizens then rather out and about at rally's
with a pitch fork and fire like the nutty right
wings.

That Michele though has it all a big brain, a smile like a horse in heat, a State Fair figure. I voted fir her over and over cousin I love her finger pointen at the Dem dogs every time they talk about the census and the spyin the goverment is doin. Ifin some time Miss Bachamnn can stop in Rush City I'd love to buy her a drinkiie and maybe have her out to the place fir a dance around the bedroom.

I've never read so many disappointing entries in my life. Is there not one person who can honestly disagree with Dr. Paul and put it in a way that isn't just spiteful rhetoric and childish ramblings? I'm honestly embarrassed...thought there were more intellectual people in stp.

Socially, he's pretty liberal. Fiscally, he thinks our money should be spent wisely and cost-effectively. There's a good start... now go learn something more before responding again in such an angry and juvenile way.

Of all people, Bachmann should not talk about being out of control. She's a 100% nutcase.

"I've never seen more hypocrisy in the same room before," said Andy Pederson, another U student. "They talk about the deficit as if they aren't part of the problem."

Andy, you don't know anything about Ron Paul. He votes against all the stupid spending in Washington. I don't know much about Bachmann, but if Mr Paul has confidence in her, so will I.

We are broke as a nation, China owns us. If they quit buying our debt we as a nation would be in deep crap. We wouldn't have a pot to piss in.

We need to get back to being a nation the creates wealth not one who spends ourselves silly, putting our kids future at risk.

I fail to understand why anyone but the owners of the fed would not want a detailed listing of who got bonds from "The Creature from Jekyll Island." Our MSM seems to be nothing but cheerleaders for this conspiracy of international banksters. There is something called "plausable denialbility," but it is getting harder for the fed to maintain it's carefully crafted posture. I suppose so many people are dependent on federal food chain that they cannot concieve of being indepedent of political hand outs.

The more I know the more I wonder. The status quo has not been working so maybe things need to drastically change. We tried it with Jesse but maybe on a national level it would really make a difference. Incumbents out and change in.

Daily Horoscope for November 26

Sagittarius

The mood is considerably lighter as the Moon enters Aries and your fifth house of romance and creativity today; plan to enjoy a good time tonight. Make a play date with your inner child and forget about all your responsibilities for a few hours; you've been working hard and deserve time off for good behaviour. Just remember, no drinking and driving... hire a cab if you plan to go out for the evening.
