Dr. Wolfe

Went to him and found out he is rude.He talks down to his patients and calls everyone that sees him fat.His waist is 3or 4 times what mine is. Ask you what is your belief If you tell him what your belief is he talks down to you..Took the kids to him he talked bad to them.I heard he was like that but didn't know til I seen It for my self. I will not go back to him or take the kids back to him I will tell them that. How soon I hope Betty comes back.Just wanted to know if he is rude to everyone like that.

That's interesting. He was listed as my primary care doc for many years on my insurance card, but I never saw him one time at Mt. Peoples Huntsville. I had also heard that from time to time, but never had your experience. I always saw Dr. Goff when she was there. I liked her and so did a lot of other women patients. Also liked Jerri Kline as a nurse practitioner. Maybe women like women doctors better, are more comfortable with them. Or maybe Dr. Wolfe really is rude and needs to upgrade his bedside manners. Then again, maybe we all just got older and fatter, and he doesn't mind telling us so...

He is not jus being funny he is an ass! I have had back surgeries and while going to my people's I was telling him about my right leg going numb while walking I have severe nerve damage to that leg went to him to see if another disc had ruptured when I ask him to check about it his exact words were "try using your legs more" that being said he looked me up and down with a disgusted look on his face and walked out of the room. He did not even attempt to help me. I have refused pain pills from him before so he KNOWS I wasn't looking for some pain medication. He needs to quit being a dick or quit bein a dr he isn't a very helpful one any way.

He is brutelly honest. He don't beat around the bush tellin' you a bunch of bull. He is a great doctor.. I would recommend him to anyone...

I am just wondering if anyone else feels uncomfortable around him? He always lifts my shirt up to check my heart, and for some reason, wants to undo my pants and check my lymph nodes on my legs. I refuse to see him and would rather see Joan James. It may all be just me and normal exam, but, when i go in for a headache and this is part of the exam I tend to believe that it probably is unnecessary. Just wondering if anyone else feels that way, or had the same experience.

Guess I should have also stated that upon seeing a different Dr.was told I did have yet another disc ruptured and it was very bad,wound up having yet another surgery. I thought a great Dr. Was supposed to care bout their patients and want them to get better not knowingly ignore the very prominent symptoms because he has a god complex and thinks he knows there is nothing wrong without doing any kind of diagnostic tests thinking.because of him I had to suffer he didn't not LISTEN to his patient he again is NOT a great Dr. He needs to consider that maybe just maybe he can be wrong and actually try to see if there is in fact a logical medical reason for the symptoms the patient is exibiting.

My woman went to the sob for an infection on her toe and the quack pervert wanted to do a breast exam and a pap she wont be goin back to that SOB

Joan isn't any better I went to see her after I had surgery and she was very rude to me said she didnt think there was a reason for me moving so slow I dont go there anymore

i am a current patient of Dr. Wolfes....i can tell u that no one has been more mad and more hurt at him than i have.
But.... He saved my life...i am grateful to him for the fussing he did at me...it showed he cared.but at the time.i couldnt see it that way.

He is a awesome doctor...and maybe he dont have any bedside manners but he knows what he is doing...and this is one life that he saved....Do u want to be petted or do u want to be Well...??

I'm sorry I'm glad he helped you but due to his arrogance, I suffered much longer than I should have I didn't want to be petted I wanted help in his "all knowing mind" I didnt have a problem , without even running some normal tests that my new dr ran immediatly i didn't get the help from him I had to change drs to get the help I needed and deserved .i know doctors are only human they are fallible but to cause someone to suffer because you don't THINK they have a problem without even checking it out isn't being human it's being arrogant!

Joan is a joke! She has prescribed patients wrong medicine numerous times. I can't believe mt peoples hire all these quacks. But ya know thanks to all these pill heads around here its hard for people who really have pain get anything. I wish pain pills would go to Hell

I have been going to Dr Wolfe for years. He is very honest. He might not tell you what you want to hear, you may not get what you want, but he knows what he is doing. I have never felt uncomfortable with him. He checks you in all those places because it is a preventive measure. If you do not feel comfotable or happy with him, get a different doctor. I have many health issues and he has always taken care of me. I may not like hearing his honesty, but I know he won't lie to me. That's why I go to him. He has NEVER done anything inapropiate to me. I am over weight and he doesn't sugar coat it. I would recomend him to anyone that wants an honest doctor. I don't like the receptionists in his office, but he has nothing to do with that. Keep up the good work Dr Wolfe. You still have patients who love ya!

He doesn't do paps u idiot, Joan does them. He has never done a pap u perv.

Actually he did a pap on me, and I actually had to ask him to get the nurse to come in the room.I am in the process of going to a new doctor.I have had a bad cough for a few Weeks, but will wait till I get a new doctor to get it looked at.and if it is so commonfor him to do those things then why did he not do the same exam on my kids? I just think that I may call the board and see if it is appropriate. I think he may be another Dr Perry

No wonder we can't get a good doctor here, look at all the rumors that get started

I just want to say that my husband went to Joan for 6 months and she didnt find anything wrong with him. stopped seeing her went to see dr. wolfe and found out that he had a light heart attack rhem arititus and severe plurisey in his rib cage and alzheimers so you tell me who sounds like the best doctor...

I couldn't imagine being a doctor around here. 3 out of 4 patients you'd see would either be fat as hell or dirty and on drugs (or both). If some 400lb woman who has 24 different health problems (from being 400lb and smoking) comes in and says she has trouble breathing it'd be hard NOT to say "Its because your heart pumps brown gravy you cow!" It isn't so bad when people realize its because they're obese but when some huge person who smokes a pack a day says they have trouble breathing its like they're in denial and think they must just have a disease.

If it hadn't been for Dr Wolfe helping me, I don't think I would have gotten the great care I had. He has saved my life more than once and sent me to some wonderful specialist. If you don't like a doctor, don't go to them. A large percent of patients are obese. I think the women who work at the front desk are very rude, but some people may like them. I just know he is great and I like his honesty. It may not be what I want to hear, but it is what I need to hear. I will go to him until he leaves. Keep up the good work Dr Wolfe!!!

Sounds like people wonting drugs and he wont give them any. So there gonna trash him. He is a good Dr not a drug dealer. If you wont drugs go to Dr. Coffee. Dr Wolfe is a verry good Dr.
