My granddad used to say that it is absurd to doubt Darwin, as he had only had to walk down to the shops to see we were related to monkeys.

LOL i think i would have liked your grandad, its funny how they talk about evolution when its patently obvious humans are in various stages of 'evolution' morally so to speak. i dont have trouble believing evolution but it still does not explain the whys |

I cannot really understnad these creationists and assorted religious nutters. We were taught at school about evolution, and that the dates and "days" of the bible were just allegory. I never had any trouble accepting evolution, and a visit to the Natural History Museum showed it was true.

I'm surprised you say that because you agree with everything else the Fundies preach: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Allies-Armageddon-Chr... She finds that the view through the Christian Zionist lens is dangerously simple: President Bush's War on Terror is a mythic battle between good and evil, and Syria and Iran represent the powers of darkness. Such views are far from rare: an estimated fifteen to twenty million Americans share them. Almost one in three Americans believes Israel was given to the Jews by God as a prelude to the Battle of Armageddon and Jesus' Second Coming. Clark concludes with an assessment of Christian Zionists' impact on American foreign policy in the Middle East and on America's relationships with European allies since the attacks of 9/11. |

that all is true, but more so the fool them for going off the path of peace in favour of war and emnity. i wonder if that's what it means(in't bible) when it says 'true believers' and regardless of the religion or lack of it a good person is a good person. (and to me exactly the kind of person who's qualities are on par with Jesus teachings) but i know thats not really a common held thing as teachers in these places like the bias so as to prove they are 'special' but no! they dropped out and everyone is thier enemy. They should ban mass hysteria and send inspectors into these places to see if they are commiting programming crimes. if there is going to be programming(and there is) it should at least teach the right way for people to live together and respect each other as humans first. then religion's could be prosecuted for 'reprogramming' as it says in the bible there is no law against living a peaceful, love orientated life, therfor no punishment in it. each to there own as long as its harmless! |

what on earth are you on about now? I believe in none of that. And it is in your imagination , as I have never once expressed any views at all like that. It is you who have an absurd conspiratorial view of history, similar to Hitler's. and, stick to the subject . This is about Evolution, not your magic keywords. |
