Thats funny, I work for Pratt E.hartford and we have been making record profit for 2 years straight!! They just want to send after market services over seas and this is there made up excuse they have been looking for. We are just shooting our own foot like all other american companys are doing!! It's all about the greed!! See you in the unempoyment line AGAIN!!

You don't have to be a financial wizard to know that fuel prices and bleeding airlines are going to hit Pratt. The future engines that will keep Pratt in business depend on cash that has to come from somewhere, and it's wishful thinking that a CEO pay cut would get there.

Anyone who's been on the shop floor can see guys doing things that make no sense for the company. B1tching about the execs is just throwing sand in the air. That union steward telling me he wants to file a grievance against something that's just common sense is taking money out of all of our pockets. Same with the guys doing a job the hard way because they think it's job security when some guys in a country I can't even pronounce do it with half the time and people. So sure, management should take a hard look at how to do things better, but everyone should be looking in the mirror.
