its just so easy to pass judgement on people, especially when we read or hear about them getting in trouble.its just so ignorant of us to believe someone is guilty even before we know the truth behind acrime

It is just my opinion, but I am glad when anyone who is selling drugs is caught. I believe when you do the crime you should have to do the time. I realize that our jails and prisons are pretty full, but they have let a lot of the (Class D)lesser offenders go...hoping at least some of them have learned their lesson. If the people who were caught recently have to do a few years in the pen maybe they would be less apt to start selling again. A slap on the hand is not going to solve the problem. Those who are getting hooked on the drugs are getting cheated out of their lives (and their children are suffering). I say send them to the pen maybe they won't want to go back the second time.

not all people who sell drugs are getting time just the ones who will not tell on others .and if you believe they should get pen time then how is it fair for the others who dont .that to me is double standards.but lets bend the law for the ones who help make arrest so next time they can still sell drugs to your children

The "rats" usually get a major beating from the big dogs. The rats are usually the pee ons. The law is after the big dogs. I don't think it a double standard because that system usally takes care of itself. I don't think they are bending the law. But, they offer that incentive to the rats in order to get to the suppliers. If they get the suppliers the next time the rats won't have the crap to sell to the children. And, if they catch the rats again they have a much harder time of getting out of it.

a beating is putting it litely.and they do bend the law and have double standards for the c.i.s.but aslong as they make busts then its okay.just look at all the rats who get out of trouble or get drug court their still doing drugs.so hows that helping our community with its drug problem.
