BECKY: You either have a college degree or you don't. I find it highly ironic that you come in here repeatedly chastizing me for not getting my 2nd post-graduate degree when you aren't even a college graduate. And I got my degree while I was a single mom with three little kids while on welfare, so it wasn't exactly a silver spoon like RYAN got.
What is the difference between a silver spoon and being on the taxpayer dole? More notable is how little you have done with your education and how impaired your judgment and reasoning seem to be, in spite of it. Did you graduate from Tinkertoy Tech?

And all these years later you squander that education by not doing what it takes to get a full time job. What a waste.(Then again, if you 'taught' what you preach here, in the end I guess it was best for all that you didn't bother getting certified.)

BECKY: Only with CRAIG.
So why not just make fun of Craig instead of a bunch of folks that got to go to work instead of college. I know many folks who just have a high school diploma but they do know how to figure percentages out (among other things).

The fact that you resort to this game of who has more college units speaks loads about your insecurities. Maybe getting full teaching certification would help with the self-esteem issues you have.

BECKY: The only "self-esteem" issue I have is how to manage to pay for food, rent, medical care, transportation, and plan for my retirement on wages which don't support a fraction of that. The State of California resorts to this "game" of requiring a 4-yr degree while the school districts resort to this "game" of not providing equivalent compensatory wages and benefits.
DONE AND DONE has pointed out that this wage-structure is "traditional" and well-accepted by members of the public. I don't have to like it. And I don't have to accept it quietly. And I certainly don't have to go back to college for even MORE education in order to advocate for reasonable compensation now.
As usual, the FAT FOOL from Detroit has completely left out the biggest, most important FACT of the entire issue; SHE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FACT THAT HER CREDENTIALS ARE EXPIRED!!!!!

Is she honestly too brain-dead to grasp the concept of cause-and-effect?

Or has she decided that's she's exempt from being responsible for her job requirements?

Here you are criticising Ryan for having A silver spoon.
Ryan EARNED a JURIS DOCTORATE IN HIS OWN RIGHT!!!
What about the other town crackpot Robert Norse??????
He's exponentially wealthier than Ryan.
Does he even have the most rudimentary college degree??????
No, I don't believe so.
He has wasted and squandered his entire life causing as many problems as he can for the people of Santa Cruz.
He is to Santa Cruz, what malignant rectal polyps do for healthy digestion.
So are you BJ.

Well we agree, your low self esteems is rooted in your inability to provide for yourself. You can advocate for higher wages until you are blue in the face but if you truly want the perks you describe above you will need to do much more. Good luck

What a disappointing way for him to spend his life. He coulda been a contender!

He should go home to Portland and "improve" that fair city. We certainly don't need him - or BJ (who should be "improving" Detroit)

Nobody, not ONE native Californian asked either of your nasty asses to come here. Go home you worthless sacks of manure.

*LOL* Becky~! YOu are truly hilarious! I love this post by you in our earlier converstation:

=========
POT CALLING KETTLE WRITES: "And hearing her chide him for accepting unsubstantiated claims, while she is at the same time thanking anonymous posters for unsubstantiated claims that Ryan Coonerty likes a glass of wine...... priceless irony."

BECKY: Hey, I believed her! She said she's a real good friend of RYAN's. Why would she lie?
=======

*lol* So, you believed WHO Becky? An anonymous poster you don't know. And why would you lie you asked?*chuckle*.

...this coming from a paranoid like you who claims that anonymous posters aren't credible, who maintains that the dozens who refute your lies in their posts are actually only a small number posting under multiple handles, etc., etc.

All of this you debunk and doubt, but when you can find ONE anonymous poster who says something that you think gives you an edge, it's valid, believable, and good as gold?

*ROTFL* Nuff said.

On Thursday night, the Planning Commission declined to hear any new testimony and reportedly voted 5-2 to forward the ban on all new marijuana dispensaries to City Council.

The Sentinel apparently has had neither news story nor comment on this new prohibitionist move.

It would be nice if WAMM, Greenway, and Ken Sampson's club actually came out supporting the right to open a dispensary here instead of simply defending their own turf. That wasn't the case it seems at the November 4th hearing where limited public testimony was allowed.

Call City Council now if you wish to oppose the Ban. Otherwise it's likely to sail through like the two previous "temporary" moratoriums did this summer.

Robert, I left at 8 o'clock, after watching Valerie stand there to address the panel for some time and listening to the same there would be no public comment.

Are you aware that WAMM issued a press release the day before the meeting:

WAMM issues press release supporting medical marijuana dispensaries: http://www.examiner.com/examiner/x-14883-Sant...

So they weren't interested in anything Valerie Corral had to say?

We all know the Sentinel is a shill for the prohibitionists.

I was curious what happened after I left. Do you know what time the meeting ended?
