So how did they pick their name? Did someone throw up on a keyboard? Is this supposed to be a cute "internetty" name?

I would NEVER shop at HH Gregg. Visited the location on Colonial near Executive airport. It was like walking into a sleazy used car dealership. All these commissioned sales people follow you around the store. Should you find something of interest, they hammer and hammer you until you tell them to allow you to walk around.

Looked at dishwashers. The freaking sleezeball was right behind me. Walked to bedding - he followed me around asking "what would it take for you to take this bed home tonight?"

I think they are very hard-nosed salespeople and survive strictly on commission. They took lessons from Bill Heard Chevrolet & Ashley Furniture.

I picked up a refrigerator this past weekend at one of the stores that was set to open "today." The prices were great compared to other stores I shopped and they were even willing to negotiate downward on top of a coupon I had.

There were a bunch of salespeople that lurked around while we were shopping, but they weren't pushy and kept their distance for the most part.

After the sale and delivery, I got follow-up calls to make sure I was satisfied.

All-in-all a good experience.

There is still a company that is surving in these tough economic times. a great company to shop at. and why would you go into a store to look around you should know if you are going to buy when you go in to the store.

HH GREG beats BEST BUY big time !!...HHgreg is an up and coming company that bends over backward to please you . Best buy has all the slick advertising , bells and whisles , but misses the mark big time on follow up sevrice. They treat people like shit when the sale is complete . 10% restock fee at best buy sucks. Anybody but best buy !!HHGREG .. new kid on the block aims to please before AND after the sale !

First and only time in the brand new HH Gregg store (Jacksonville Fla. 32256) today. VERY aggressive sales lady. Asked what it would take for me to buy a LG Wah/Dry set and then she suggested a $ 2200.00 price. I told her OK then while waiting for manager to approve she asked me about extended warranty. I said I would wait. Her response was "the manager would not approve the price until I committed to the extended warranty". I said see ya' and walked out. I was prepared to purchase both W&D and warranty but her pushy, aggressive attitude pushed me out the door. Maybe a good thing after seeing all the Rip-Off reports and consumer complaints on HH Gregg and the LG products I was prepared to purchase!

A a former employee, I advise anyone who even dares think of doing business with them - STAY AWAY FROM H.H. GREGG!!! You might think you're getting the "better deal", but I can assure you, if your product breaks or fails, you are ON YOUR OWN!!! Bottom line - you get what you pay for!

Daily Horoscope for December 8

Libra

Get organized because that's the best way to be productive today. You're eager to be as efficient and practical as possible, but you won't get very far if you don't know what to do first. So draw up a list of priorities and start with the most urgent. Ideally, you should be left to your own devices while you do all this because that will aid your concentration and self-confidence.
