Is this Tommy Beall the same one who was a Lexington cop and his wife was fired from the department also? If so, he used to live in Nicholasville and was associated with the cops in living at and near Triad. He was with officer Danny Murphy when he found his murdered wife. His and Murphy's erroneous statements led investigators to first rule the death accidental. Murphy eventually took an Alford Plea and served his time. Just another tentacle of the Bluegrass Conspiracy.

The following is from the Lexington Herald Leader:

The mystery surrounding the murder of Jessamine County nurse Barbara Becker Murphy has not been solved in the 19 months since she was found severely beaten and suffocated in her snow-covered driveway.

No arrests have been made, although state police say the case is still open.

Mrs. Becker was first reported to have been the victim of an alcohol overdose and hypothermia, so police weren't notified until the day after she died.

But an autopsy showed that Mrs. Becker was the victim of a homicide.

The autopsy report said that her body had old bruises, that she might have been kicked and that someone apparently suffocated her by stuffing an unidentified object in her mouth.

Mrs. Becker had marks on her body that could have been rodent bites, the autopsy report said.

The snow was deep and temperatures were frigid on Feb. 10, 1985, when Mrs. Murphy, 33, was found outside her home on McGhee Lane in a remote part of Jessamine County. She was found face down wearing a down-filled coat, ski pants and nurse's shoes.

Her husband, Danny Murphy, a former Lexington police officer, told authorities that he had last seen his wife the night before. He went looking for her when he woke up and couldn't find her in the house, Kentucky State Police detective Roger Issacs told the Lexington Herald-Leader in 1985.

Deputy Fayette County Coroner Rolan Taylor said in 1985 that Murphy said he then summoned a neighbor - Lexington police Sgt. Tommy Beall. They thought Mrs. Murphy showed signs of life and took her to the University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.

There, she was attached to a respirator as doctors tried to raise her body temperature from 62 degrees. She was pronounced dead a few hours later.

Authorities were initially told that Mrs. Murphy had a history of drug and alcohol abuse, but toxicology reports detected no drugs in her system and no evidence of previous heavy drug use, Taylor said.

She had a blood-alcohol level of 0.10 percent - the legal minimum for driving under the influence of alcohol, but not a sign of extreme intoxication.

Isaacs said Mrs. Murphy, a nurse who had worked at Lexington's Central Baptist Hospital until late January 1985, was not originally thought to have been a victim of foul play because hospital officials thought that the heavy bruising on her body was similar to that sustained by a victim of frostbite or hypothermia.

But when the initial autopsy data failed to indicate the cause of death, the Fayette County coroner's office called state police and asked that the death be investigated.

In April 1985, Jessamine Commonwealth's Attorney Harlan Veal Jr. said that "much progress" had been made in an investigation of the death, and he planned to take his findings to a grand jury later in the month. But Veal has taken no action.

When interviewed recently, Veal said he did not take the case to the grand jury because the "investigation was inconclusive to bring homicide charges against any one person.

Again, get a life! Why get on here and talk about other people. Who cares what kind of education any of these officers have. I know several on the force who can retire in the next few months so they must be doing something right since they have 20 years in. Want me to name names? hmm lets see, you have Green,Miller, Stone,Thomas and I think Mason and Vaught may be able to retire soon. I feel sorry for the officers who put their life on the line and their family has to go about hearing about scum getting on topix and posting crap about them. If you hate the police then you are pretty much an outlaw or been put in Jail before. I worked at the Clark County Detention Center and i saw these officers everyday so i know what kind of men they are. The officers i mentioned above are very respectable men who do a fantastic job and care about the community they live in,. Beall has put more drug peddlers in jail since who knows when! He must be a pretty smart man to know who all the dopers is in this town. I'm pleased to call these men my friend! God Bless the Winchester Police!
Ok you know them so well and worked at ccdc so tell me how many cover-ups for "important" people they do? Cause I know of at least 1, Margie and John Mullins horribly attacked me and my children and winpd helped them to do it and cover it up! And a lot of people have lost faith in the police because they have become power hungry liars for hire

I know a lot of Ex's also and like most of them, they like to spread rumors and gossip about the ex and that's not just LEO's but any person.
