Health board adopts smoking ban

Bypassing approval by city and county governments, the Clark County Board of Health adopted a county-wide regulation Thursday to ban smoking in public places.

They should all be fired and held financially responsible for all the legal costs the city/county will incur due to their unilateral arrogance. And then all their tea should be dumped in the harbor.

I am a non-smoker, but I think this ban is unneccessary. Most restaurants have already banned smoking, so the ban is really only effecting bars and the little country stores where the farmers hang out. I think that there are enough non-smoking places in Winchester that everyone could choose which places to patronize.

Personally I hate smoking... And if you feel like it doesn't hurt anybody else if you smoke while they eat then I guess you would not mind if I fart in your face while you eat because they both stink!!!!!!
