STOP moving and stealing the vendor's items out here . We welcome browsers and customers alike but , no one welcomes people that place things back where they got it nor , a thief .

This is what Wal-Mart employees think as well. At least they still keep their greeter. I always feel welcome there. And the merchandise is new. Peddlers Mall has went down hill. Majority of items are over priced yard sale junk. As a consumer, I would welcome some air fresheners and new vendors in there. I would actually stop by more than once in a blue moon.

Peddler's Malls are dominant in the Antique and Collectibles Business in Kentucky. Within 11 years we have grown to 20 retail locations. Each store location is made up of several vendors who rent booth space to sell their products. Peddler's Malls create a unique shopping experience for those seeking one of a kind treasures or everyday needs.

Just thought I would post what peddler malls are since some people on here do not understand that it is not walmart. Peddler malls has an antique smell and just because you dont like it does not mean it should be refurnished. the vendors there pay good money to have there booth. its $120 plus 4% of profits not only that but you as well have to pay for you walls and displays. So before you get on here and start insulting them, be sure you know what the hell you are talking about. The people that have there stuff in there are not usually there to make a living but to show you what else in the world there use be other than walmart can not provide.

That doesn't make it any less crappy. I don't care if it is the "antiques" smell. That can put off a LOT of customers walking in the door. Spray some febreeze or something. And once all the people that are over 40 have died off, all your little retail locations will shut down because MOST younger people don't give two shits about beanie babys, porceline dolls, bubble gum machines, cotton gins, and old clothes.
Sorry, but thats the ugly truth about your ugly looking and smelling store.

haha.. I am younger folk and i just happen to not have a booth in the store but have the experience and the how to on how to run one. those places do not want to draw in the younger crowd..because most of them have becomes theives and do not know how to work for what they got. if you dont like it dont go there..these places are to draw in the interesting folk and you younger folks because I assure that you are younger than i want indians to own these places and sell socks and illegal cigaretts. go start your own peddler store of happy weed and drama clothing if you dont like. I hope you fail and then maybe one day you will appreciate what the older folks have to offer.

wow, you're JUSt as stereotypical as I am. You say all younger people steal, do weed, like "drama clothing" (How freaking OLD are you, young'n???), etc. I wear t-shirts with cute sayings or family.college pride sayings, or pretty artwork on them. Nothing dramatic about that. NEver smoked a joint or tried a recreational drug a day in my life. NEVER stolen ANYTHING. I don't go there because it's disgusting. I don't smoke, I buy my socks at walmart, or get them as gifts (as I am fond of toe socks), the only "Indian" saleperson I like is the girl at Gasoline Alley becaue she's respectful enough to say "Thank you" and "Have a good day". I don't see how I'm going to "Fail" seeing as I've been accepted into a few prestigious colleges and universities (Bellarmine University being one). I don't see how I could POSSIBLY fail considering I have a high ACT, high GPA, and am going to be majoring in Fine Arts. Soon enough, I'll be able to get out of this cesspool and move on to bigger and better things. What are YOU doing with yur life??

We are just about on the same page.. I just appreciate the antiques and the smell of old people because they are why I am who i am today. My life is great I am married and have a successful carrier. I work hard for what I've earned and love to shop at peddlers mall. there are just retarted people as yourself that thinks everything should have to change. If you are soo worried about the smell why dont you volunteer your little happy young butt and spray some febreeze or donate some glad plugins. College means nothing almost these days I have friends that have graduated and making less money than I am. I am a hard working individual of Winchester Ky with a 401k and this beaattch is only 24yrs old! So take your graduated butt to walmart! the nice lady that was commenting on here wasnt about what it was like or whether it stank but was concerned about the theives...maybe you have great solution for that too!! maybe if it smelt good it would keep all the theives away!! hahahahahaha

Thats the thing, you didn't have to defend old people. It just that I don't see the point in trying to defend a place that in my opinion could use work, and has a LOT of stuff that seems to be as another poster said, "Yard sale junk".
I'm all for respecting the elderly, but I'm telling you, the smell is off putting enough to make me want to never visit there. Hence, you lose a potential customer. They may have some newer, better stuff in some of the booths, but I'll never know until they do something about the smell. Yes, it's that offensive.
Also, though there are SOME people who graduated college and make less than you, it probably means that they picked a practically useless major that will get them nowhere, unless they happen to move to a place where they can have a tiny chance of getting a job in that field in today's economy. College means everything if you'd prefer not to be flipping patties, dealing, whoring, or making due in some other minimum wage hell-hole of a job. Especially if you're planning on getting away from this pitiful town.
I apologize for my tone and wording earlier, I just honestly don't get what some people think is so great about the place. Difference of opinions I suppose.

I never knew antiques smell like urine, mind you not everywhere but in some areas things are sticky, and some things are dingy and smell like piss, now I like peddlers mall, but I do agree they need to be more cleanly. Also I do agree some things are way over priced, if something is to expensive no one will want to buy it, so it sits there not making you a dime. I was looking around a few months ago and I happened apon some belly rings, now I don't think I was going to buy them because I'm odd about purchasing used jewelry, but they were like 20 bucks each, I could have gotten similar or exact same for 10 else where. I'm just saying if its a steep price and I don't think it has the value the same as the price, I'm not buying it, so youre not making any cash.

The stuff is over priced, alot of the venders buy their stuff from the goodwill stores and sell it for alot more then they paid. There was a chair at goodwill for 25.50 and the next day the same chair was in a booth for 127.00 theres alot things i have noticed like this.I can see trying to make a profit but that is just crazy. If you want to shop for less go to the goodwill, i know there things are giving to them but the people giving them in return gets a tax write off so it works out for everyone. And i agree it does smell in there...

Really, go get the panties out your crack and calm down. I compared Peddlers Mall to Wal-Mart as in they both sell over priced crap. You walk in the door at Wally's and get smiled at. At Peddlers they are congregated behind the counter gossiping. To quote you, "Peddler malls has an antique smell and just because you dont like it does not mean it should be refurnished." I didn't say it needs to be refurnished, but glad that you mentioned it. That falls on the renter to make something look eye catching, not eye sore. I said it stinks and vendors with real antiques should come in. The hand made and traditional crafts are great. Peddlers rental rates are a rip off and have steadily went up over the years, driving out true products of craftsmanship. I know exactly what I'm talking about. Get over yourself. Go to the Peddlers Malls in Lexington and Richmond and it is a different feel and experience. Everyone who earns a living has hard earned money in their pocket. It is each individuals right to spend it on quality products or junk. And believe me, there is a difference between antiques and crap you try to pawn off as antiques. And if Peddlers Mall speaks for what else is in the world, that's a sad little world you live in. The world is not found in the stained sweater on the wire hanger, fourth row down, 3rd booth on the left

You really appreciate the smell of old people? I really appreciated the smell of my grandmother's perfume. I don't care too much for nursing home type smells in a business that does not cater to the care of the elderly. Why should anyone donate anything to help a business that so obviously should afford more for custodial services than it does? The renters should take the time to research and price their "products" at competitive rates, not nostalgic or what they think they deserve rates. And you have to admit there are a few booths with true junk. If someone doesn't care enough to wash it or clean it before they put it in a booth, what would make them think someone would care to buy it? 401K? You just showed how smart you are not. Anyone that works at McDonalds can have a 401K. You still have a lot to learn about pensions and retirement plans before you can throw out a 401 try-to-make-myself-look-establ ished bragging right. I owned my first salon at 19. I owned my first house at 26. I am married, 2.5 kids, the great career (not carrier!) and living the American dream. I have more now than my grandparents and parents combined. I'm 30 and I do not need to call myself the name of a female dog to look like I'm something to a bunch of strangers on topix. I appreciate antiques, estate sales and flea markets. Just like there is a big difference between wine and beer, there is also a big difference between antique walnut and particle board furniture. The latter is the more abundant in the Peddlers "Antique" Mall.

I agree with the absurd pricing. As Oscar Wilde said, "They know the price of everything and the value of nothing."

Haha, you dumb piece of shit, I never said I was GOING to Bellarmine, I said I got accepted. And fine arts does not just mean garden furniture photography and oils paintings. For one, I can't paint for shit. Ever hear of graphic design?? It's kinda HUGE in the advertising business, as well as the gaming industry. So enjoy looking at my work before you tear if out of a magazine to wipe your ass with it after you shit in your little cardboard hut! <3
