This company once did a main line repair at a previous home, and one snaking of my laundry drainpipe at my current home (which did not correct the problem) . I needed some major work done at my new home so I thought I would check with them. I wanted a thankless water heater, laundry drainpipe replaced and copper re-pipe work to be done. I set an appointment with William to come to my home for an estimate. He said he would be the one I would see. The day of the appointment, no body came or called to say they could not keep the appointment. This would be a lot of work for the company and they did not think enough about me to call with a change of plans. I was very upset because I had to make arrangements with my 83yr old mother to babysit my grandchildren so I could stay home and wait for William. I will not be using this company, this lack of concern is a reflection of how they do their work.

On August 1, 2012 I decided to use AMERI-CAL REPIPE & PLUMBING (REPIPE SPECIALISTS)to repipe my house using PEX Piping. M. Norris was very detailed & explained everything The job was completed as promise within three days. The work was great and they patched the holds. However, he recommended to add three valves at $180 for each bathroom. At the time my wife & I couldn't decide to add these valves. On the first day of job, crew told it would be $180 each and brought the valves with them. After completing a day work we decided to add the valves, but they told us it would be $250 each. I talked with M. Norris and he indicated due to the work was already done it was harder to add the valves and cost of labor. This was the reason to increased the the price. I told him he didn't tell us the increase before the start of the work and the crew didn't mention the increase. We would had told him to add the valves if there was increase in the price. Nobody told about this. M. Norris said he couldn't do anything about this. After the work was completed and paid everything, a bill for $255.00 was sent to us. I called the owner (Bill)and complained. I told him about the increase amount on valves installed and also where the crew had removed some poster I had in one room. Some posters had small tears at the corners. I explained that this was unfair. He was very understanding and waived the $255. I was very happy and would recommend this company to anyone for re piping.

All this company wants to do is a FULL house re-pipe and the pushy sales rep will push you ONLY in that direction whether you like it or not. I had a three sets of pipes that needed replacement, not a small job, yet the only bid the sales rep would push was a whole house re-pipe. I've just had cancer surgery and don't have that kind of money and when I requested a lesser quote, the jerk blew me off after telling me he'd get back to me and never call, until I had to call and then he said they're not interested in the job.! A-hole. Very rude and inconsiderate.
I'd suggest if you don't feel like being pushed into what THEY want to do, a big budget Whole House Re-pipe, you look somewhere else. Besides, I got lower bids for a whole house from others with good reputations too.
