Browns Valley Election

For those of you that do not want to vote for the incumbent mayor, you have an option. Ken Warren will accept the nomination as a write-in for mayor. Our town needs a change, the people need to be heard, lets get our town back. A vote for Jennifer Affeldt as councilwoman will help bring change also. And there needs to be a woman or two on the council anyway. This town has been run so long by these people that it is a change that is needed very badly.

what would jennifer affeldt do for browns valley?? people piss and moan about taxpayers dollars at work?? all you have to do is look at her and her family and inlaws... if you want to put the face of browns valley as a welfare case go ahead and vote for a new regime...

by the way...ken warren was on city council, why waste a vote on a person who quit... warren, affeldt, affeldt...hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm sound like a 3 to vote on anything ken warren wants??????????

Goehring sits on his butt all day and lets his wife work, affelt's have one person that works out of 4 and that's what we want running the city? we are better off the way it is at least some of the council works and they at least have some idea what is going on in the town. Afraid to put your name on your post? Ken Warren resigned because it suddenly became legal to bounce checks at our city liquor store if you were the mayor.

Maybe mayor & council should be replaced but definitely not with the Affeldts. They don't have a clue, besides no firemen will vote for Rodney when he is up for election! How about replacing the clerk? How many more years is the city going to tolerate that problem? If we are going to change things, lets do it for the better, not just change but change for the better! I would be willing to vote differently but not for an Affeldt!

exactly hope...but for mark.. cohunes means u have the stuff to reproduce and that means future taxpayers...as far as I have heard you want flood money distributed evenly...I do agree with that...but...and it is a very big but you want something for free...money put forth by donations and withheld from donations in order for the state to match funds is probably what the council should have done if you could read an article about the flood monies and how the matching funds work through the state you should just shut your mouth and let the people who know what is going on do their jobs instead of running your mouth all over town...if you can do better run for council instead of pissin and moaning and telling everyone what you think is right.... pay your couple of bucks and file to run... how about this forget ken as a write in... I'm voting for mark as a write in maybe he can actually find out what is going on and how things in a government actually work... I guess if I had a wife that worked more in a year then I have in 10 I could run my mouth like mark...but I guess I pay my taxes and work my ass off to make a living...so I guess if I have the cohunes to do that and pull my own weight I have the right to not list my name because I'm sure the majority of browns valley feels the same...

Just shows how much you really do not know. A long time ago I said on a public forum that I do not want any of the money. If you had attended the meetings as much as I have, you may know this. Or are you just plain stupid. Attacking my personal life shows that you know not what actually goes on. Ask my wife, and that is all I need to say about that. By the way, paying taxes like I do also, does not mean you have kahunas.

Well first of I thought that welfare was there for people when it is needed, and no offence when only one person can work it is needed not that apparently an amputation disqualifies you from working !Well when everything is going good for you in your life I guess it opens the door for you to put people down when they are down on their luck. Some people are not born with silver or gold spoons in their mouth some people work damn hard for what the got in life .Also those who live in glass houses should not throw stones because NO ONE in this town is perfect just snooty and bitchy which does not qualify as perfect people in my book but I guess as politicians go that is what usually wins!Last time I new we did live in a Democracy so vote for who you want it will not matter to me if I win or not , I just would like to see the Police dept. stay in town because as a mother I would like to feel that my children are safe at night.And to all thoughs who did blog and did not show names Shut up till you can fess up !

What I had meant but the "snooty and bitchy" was that whoever was making those comments was being that because of how judgemental they were being about my being on wellfare. The comment was not made about the town as a whole I love this town and that is the only reason I am even running because I really do not want to see it die off.My comments were made to two people only to whomever was is New Regime and Hope for us. If I offende any wone else I apologize and am very sorry it was not what I had meant to do and on that not vote how you want to I am done even reading this blog , you are right townlover that it is very high schoolish and I will no longer be a part of it . Who wants to vote for anyone on the council that talks like you guys, my vote goes to Norm Fryer and Jennifer, you have kids that run all over the place and have many pets and i bet used the donation money for new clothes, peircings, and bikes for your kids. We all feel bad for your husband but at least try to get out there and walk and try too help him. Drinking gallons of mountain dew for a dieabetic isnt good for him.
You all need to grow up and look at what you would do for the town and forget what others have done..........

I am an "X-Valley Guy" and I couldn't agree more with the comment above! Hell fire will follow the appointment of your mayor, Browns Valley! The whole world and the it's demons, and the devil, and some fairies were all watching this election, and Browns Valley voted for the end of the world!
