Clinton County Child Support Enforcement Agency

What a joke! They don't enforce anything. They just sit on their behinds and expect everybody else to do their job for them. I haven't gotten child support for over 5 years. The only time they go after anyone is if you are on welfare so the state can get reimbursed. They want you to do their investigating. Clinton County is the worst when trying to get child support.

Well, i know the CC child support doesn't do anything. I just saw an article about my ex in the Wilmington NewsJournal and he said he was working at the MEDITERRANIAN restaurant on Main St in Wilmington! I think I'll just go down there and show them that article and try to get back support that he owes me. He can't get out of lying about working now can he?
He didn't even mention he had any kids. Just the one that was taken away from him and his wife.OOH, that burns me up!

I agree. I have been trying to get support for the past 14 years from clinton county child support. My sons father is $16,000 dollars behind.
Every time I call the support office it is always "If you know any information give it to us" I went through a search site on the internet at my expense found where he was and they said they had to verify it through the post office in his state. Well this took 3 months and then I had to keep after them when they said "i guess he is no longer there.
They do not help at all.
I find that they are quite useless.
Can they not use their sources to look for these men through their tax record are driver licenses???????

I agree I have been dealing with CC supposed child Support Enforcement for about 5 years. They courts sentenced her to 30 days in jail. She showed up to serve and they lost the paperwork. and turned her away. They reset the date for 3 months later and now she is on the run. With more than $34,000.00 in back child support you would think they would do something. CC is worthless. Maybe they should take the tax dollars that they are getting and give them to the children that need it.

I agree, I have two exes that owe child support and neither one pays, I would be doing really well if they would pay up, but they only think of themselves. I work at ABX and they keep cutting our hours back so now I'm getting a second job just to make ends meet if I can even do that now. It really p$*% me off that they can get away with that, why I have to work 2 jobs just to keep up with inflation. It is not fair when Some people get more than enough child support so they don't have to work.

hey i feel the same way you all do. ihave two cases there. i have asked them to take it out of their wages, they refused for fear he might lose his job. They in returned lowered it over a humdred dollars. the other fatherstays in prision so they do nothing. I also had another child with the guy woh stays in prision but that case is in clermont county and they atleast take some of his state payu

I don't know why the CCCSEA does nothing. They get paid to do a job and they don't do it. I think they need to clean house and get rid of all the old so called investigaters that don't investigate anything, I found one of my exes online, but they can't find him. What about all that technology they are suppose to have? They should be able to track them down easier than us.

why don't you women get a job , get off welfare and do somthin' insteadof bitchin'. not all men run from thier obligations. the collection agencies just go after men. a woman could go and never pay and no one would do a damn thing about it. it's always deadbeat dad this and that. never a womans fault. even the adds for the collection agencies say " collecting money for those deserving moms" some moms leave too and some of them don't pay. what about that huh.

I do or did have a job I have supported my kids on my own for 15 years, I just got laid off in November from the ABX/DHL fiasco, so don't tell me to go get a job I had a job!!!

If I have to I will get on welfare since there doesn't seem to be any jobs out there. Then the state will go after them so they ccan get their money back.

Here's an idea....think REALLY hard before you whip it out, OR don't have sex, OR use protection, OR think about who the hell you are getting with before you marry them...you idiots go on welfare and have children and I have to pay for them...

That is not always the case. I was married to both exs. As soon as I got married to #2 he changed. He quit is job became controlling and made my life hell. I had to get a protection order against him. I think he owes it to his kids to pay for them.

Oh! I wanted to get fixed after we had our first one together, but he wouldn't sign the papers so I ended up getting pregnant 2 months after I had the first one.

Has any of you called the state on them? I used to live there and work at the courts and I know they do nothing, but you can. File your own paper work at the court, call the state and demand an investigation, continue to call them weekly (and be nice) asking for a status report. Judge Gano is a nitwit pusscake, so don't expect any help from him as he I worked directly with him and he favors the men who owe. The prosecutors office could care less too (the people who handle the case for the state) and about the only one who will get serious with them is Judge Rudduck, if he's still even there. Good luck to you all, but be proactive and take your bitch straight to where it belongs, the CC CSEA's phone!!!!!

Just in case all you other men out there want to continue to make you stupid ass remarks. I am a father and I do raise my children I am not sucking on the Government Tit. But it sure would be nice if CC would do something. They are worthless. I get refered to call my state everytime I call. If you are a man, live out of state and arent on welfare they could care less. I have to agree that the only people they will help are those who are on Welfare. It is a giant waste of Taxpayer money to continue to fund them. I wish my case was in Clarmont County. At least they would be actively pursuing them.

To Chuck and Jam, I am curious how much money you are behind on your child support. You obviosly have an issue or wait maybe you are one of the worthless SOB's that work at Clinton County CSEA. If it was myself who owed I would already be sitting in Jail. Call the state, call the feds it honestly doesnt matter. No one is willing to do anything.

It is so true, the county does nothing. Case workers do not return calls, they sit on their fat behinds and collect their paychecks but won't help kids get the money that is to help support them. I get 15.30 a week for 3 kids the other doesn't pay anything because he moved out of state and they are too lazy to look for him.

I lost my job and thought I had to go o welfare, but thank goodness I found a job before my severance ran out.
