There is a web site / protest at http://orfprotest.com which is making a very strong case to believe the Harveysburg police department and other enforcement agencies in the area might not be enforcing the laws and codes required to keep the Ohio Renaissance Festival safe. Photographs of ORF Inc. staff openly burning trash, building code violations, and even equal access violations are now circulating. Perhaps the most alarming, evidence Harverysburg police officers routinely participate in breaking alcohol laws while working for the Ohio Renaissance Festival. Should the citizens of Harveysburg do something about this?

After looking at the protest site, I know where I am not spending my money.
