i'm so sick of drunk drivers...

Lock her up and throw the key away. The time has come to really get tough with these drunken bums. How about jail time in all instances of drunken driving and take their license for five years. If caught driving during that time, five years in jail. Also confiscate the car. It's time to start worrying about the victims of these people. They deserve no sympathy.

Nobody's talking about banning anything, how about just being responsible for your actions. Drunken drivers kill thousands of people every year. It's about time we got tough with them. You want to drink, don't drive. If you do, you should have the book thrown at you. Do you have a problem with that?

Fred, No, I do not have a problem with that. I have personal experience (on the receiving end) of what drunk drivers cause. They should pay.

Nope, what is far more likely, is she'll find a scum bag lawyer and drag her case out for a year or two. Until someone the defense "needs" to make their case doesn't show up. Then they'll actually get the case thrown out on a technicality (this is standard operating procedure, my husband has cases he's been called in for that have been going well over a year or so)
