"Alexandra Mayer-Hohdahl contributed to this report".
You can tell Alexandra had a hand in this report, because ONCE AGAIN the same old story about the patient on a day pass has been rehashed. SHe has pounded this story into the ground over the last two years, mentioning it in about 8 differnt articles. At least this time she didnt include the lie about the car being stolen. |
Exactly. More hospital bashing from our good friends at the Lowell Sun. Thats right Alexandra, don't miss a single opportunity to get a shot in about that incident two years ago. Make sure you keep reminding people every 3 or 4 months that there was a patient at the hospital who was a professional con man and tricked everyone. Because I'm sure that no one has ever fooled the Lowell Sun or the Tewksbury police. They wouldn't have been fooled, because they are such skilled mental health professionals. |
FYI, everyone who gets arrested has their home addresses published in the paper. Ever read the arrest logs? It's considered public information...you want to break the law, that's what you can expect. She doesn't deserve special treatment. |
When was the last time someone was arrested for DUI and they gave the persons salary in the article? That wasnt information that was pertinent to the story, thats the Lowell Sun intentionally stirring up social interest against the hospital. |
Any high-profile state employee arrested for something like DUI would have their salaries published. Like I said before, it's public knowledge anyway, since taxpayer money is funding the salary of public employees. They put out a list of how much police officers make every year, and they do note salaries whenever a public employee retires, gets fired, etc. Also, when police officers are suspended or placed on leave, their salaries are always published (since they still make this money even while on suspension most of the time). I don't see the big deal. |
Yes, the list is put out every year, and the information is accesible on the web. But to include it in this article, given the lowell Sun's past history of inaccurate and biased reporting against the hospital certainly does smack of intentional sensationalism. If the Sun's past did not include an agebda against the hospital, then it might just be a fact that was tossed in arbitrarily. But given the Sun's propensity for biased and one sided reporting concerning tewksbury Hospital, it has a much more malicious nature to it. |
FYI, in case you didn't know...All public salaries are a public record, so not sure what you refer to when you say the lowell sun is stirring up controversy..you don't have to be charged with DUI to find out what a state worker makes..i'll make it easy for you to look up ever state employee (click the link below). Here you go...have at it...look up every state employee you can think of. http://www.bostonherald.com/projects/payroll/... |
That is exactly my point. There was no need to include her salary in the article. How long will it take for you guys to figure this out? We know the info is available, which is why there was no need to include it in the first place. It was only included add a little zing to the article in a time when the Lowell Sun has already been printing crap about the hospital. We all know its online, we all know where to get it. No one else has to pint out that it is public information ever again. There, that should free up some time for you guys. |

was she drinking and driving during work? no she wasnt...what she does in her personal life doesnt have any effect on anyone else...she deserves to get away wth an oui because she puts up with alot at work.
you make no sense. Of course it was to zing her and also advise the public as to how MUCH this buffoon makes (for those that don't know of the website i sent). Do you complain when the CEO's within the financial industries salaries are published and how much they make off the public from scamming them? Probably not, but those to are public record. The point of the media releasing this i believe is to show how much we are paying these public officials that consistently F*CK up. Same thing went for the Superintendent of Shawsheen Tech a few years back..published his salary for his DUI. Yet still remained on the payroll. Glad you enjoy paying screw ups so much money! One would think that high salaries bring some level of high competency...guess not in your book. |
Clueless! Do you have a threshold of when personal life criminal activity should effect ones work life? One needs to set examples and obviously someone at that level should HAVE known better. Also, if you want to continue paying her well over 100k a year, how do you expect her to get to work? Maybe the state should hire a driver for her, at your expense? Being at that level, i would also expect her to attend conferences all over the state...how will she get there when she loses her license for a year? Being CEO of a hospital that is known for recovering addicts is not setting a good example when you get bagged for DUI. Glad you think so! |
No, we're just smart enough to know that you cant change human nature with a big paycheck. Apparently in your little fantasy world the more you pay someone the more reliable they are, but out here in the real world we know different. |
i dont think she did anything criminal here. someone can fine to drive home and still fail the sobriety test.
i agree with lindsey
I dont think Brian gets the point. Lets see if he posts another comment where he repeats the same thing.......... |
I know, he just keeps trying to make the same point over and over, and he cant figure out that we see his point, and have decided that its not enough. lol
well i'm glad you are not a judge or any law enforcing officer if you don't think DUI is against the law which would result in a criminal record. Maybe Roger, the intelligent one, can spew some more venom and help me decipher your comment...because he probably thinks otherwise of my comment since he's the bright poster. |
saying the same thing over and over...lets not exagerate. i thought i responded to two different comments, one who thinks the ceo did nothing wrong and another who thinks posting public salaries is wrong. Rog, can you please post your extremely standards so everyone that posts will be able to please you and be able to communicate with you on such a high level? |
You were smart ass and sarcastic in your own posts. You said people were "clueless!" and asked smart assed, smarmy questions and challenged their intelligence. Roger answered your challenge, and buried you. Dont make the challenge if your going to cry like a baby when you lose. Roger sounds like he has already considered your point, and has moved onto the next level. Perhaps you should learn how to do the same. You wanted to stop the debate cold in its tracks with the "its public info" argument. Well, that point isn't strong enough to change the course of the discussion. Deal with it. |
