Just keep electing the Anti-Capitalist, radical environmentalist supporting, Democrat Socialists to political offices and we'll be back to the horse and buggy in no time.
Doesn't ANYONE wonder why is it that we're the ONLY country in the WORLD who "can't" drill our OWN H U G E oil reserves in the Gulf of Mexico, the northern plain Bakken oil/gas fields, and ANWR in Alaska? We would be totally energy independent if the DEMOCRATS were thrown out of office!! Wake up America. THEY are the non-violent terrorists among us and they will put us back into the Stone Age with their touch feely, politically correct, tree hugging nonsense, in an attempt to create a Socialist/Marxist America.

Soaring gas prices? No worries. Scooter fans are riding high
Article Last Updated: 05/17/2008 07:00:37 AM EDT No, it's not a motorcycle. It's part of a new generation of scooters, and Scott Dockendorff of Chelmsford is one of many new riders getting on, having fun and, ...

I drive an old Toyota that I bought brand new. It still runs great, and gets good mileage. I use it to commute to work, and my weekly gas use averages about 12 gallons. When gas goes up a buck, it only translates to about another 12 bucks a week for me. I would like to have a bigger car or a truck, but I dont have any plans on getting one soon.

Scooters will be useless in the winter, unfortunately. They're also not the safest vehicle on the road.
I agree w/Hiker that neitherr political party will treat us any better. However, I agree that we should be able to drill in the areas that mrunpc mentioned,in the short run. We have to break free from Mid-East oil. That'll give us to time to start developing alternative fuels and build hydrogen filling stations and Battery Centers to run cars in the future. We have to start soon. Should have been at this stage already. It's been 30 years+ since the oil embargo in the 1970's. |

Hmmm... not too bright. I'll explain it to you. We are going to use all the world's oil resources before really tapping our own. |
