A person does not have to like the war but if you are an American, you do support those who are protecting us. If that does not satisfy you, move to one of those countries and live the way they do. I am sure those people do not like living like that either. I am an American and I support and pray for the safe return of our soldiers.

For those who do not wish to pray for the troops, please do not comment. Start your own forum to vent.

I have to read about the war sober and slowly to not forget it is Afghanistian and not Vietnam. It sure looks to me like Obama is doing a Kennedy/Johnson sending in more troops.(FIRST) As I keep saying because Vermonter's voted in such numbers for him we should sent in 100% of our National Guard.(SECOND) As it is now Obama's war it should be a crime to be anti-war which means on is anti-Obama.

Don't worry the troops are well trained and most could have gotten out by now so they know what they are getting in for. I am speaking first hand as I got out in 2003 after over 30 years. As one reservist in my unit Remember freedom of speech for dummy's is one of the things we are protecting.

The bungling idiots in Washington DC have cost 5000 US dead SO FAR in these idiotic wars

Our Troops deserve zero support whatsoever...NONE

This poor excuse for a human being seems to forget our soldiers are fighting against worldwide terrorism and oppression set upon by the goals of Al Queda and the Taliban to seize a world wide Islamic State governed by sharia law as well as the destruction of Western civilization as a whole. rattle shut to f up , if ya dig a little deep into your family tree you will find that your family lived under some of the same conditions as the peop;e in iraq and afganistan and the usa fought for them as well, and thats what we are doing now ,helping people who have been afraid of there own govterment for years, those people are human being just like us and deserve to have the same freedpm as we do, plus we are fighting for what red said, and our troops are fighting for our freedom , for if we dont nip the terrorist in the bud we will loose what freedom we have, just as we lost a bit after 911 so if you dont like it here wich it sounds that you are very unhappy move to f somewhere else, we dont want you here anyways you low life flag burner anyways

You know, I was a very proud member of the National Guard and I can tell you that you have NO idea of what is really going on over there, do you? As a lover of your country,from the old England across the pond, I am absololutely disgusted at the comments from Rattle cattle in this forum.Both your troops and ours are fighting side by side to try and make the world a safer place in which to live,not just for us but for our children.I treat those comments with distain and contempt and would shelter them from a young recently married girl in our family who was diagnosed with leukiemia on the same day her husband was blown up in Afghanistan,losing his legs.Support your troops they are our saviours.
