It is unbelievable that this man is out of jail after molesting a child. He should not be allowed to see the light of day, ever, if I had it my way. But still, he should remain in jail until his sentencing. Outrageous.

I know this man. He is a very good man, this was because of a child that was angry and she was out to get even. Too whoever she could that included Bob. This could happen to any male out there! All's it takes is a false call to the cops. No evidence just the word of a little girl that has no idea what she has done to this mans life. His life will never be the same ruined forever. Beware of what little girls can do to you! Friends kids, relatives and family.

Well if this is true, then how is it that another kid made the same claim in the past? I agree that mothers will make false accusations vindictevly in custody battles. The DAs don't care, they prosecute regardless if they think it is true or not.

But how did this guy allow himself to be in the same situation, twice? I have to suspect he is guilty. If he isn't, then why did this kid tag him?

I wonder if this story could inspire SO MUCH MORE than speculation and judgemental gossip. Only the people involved know what is true. However, Time works for these individuals it can inspire proactivity on our parts.The teacher IS in the plea of no contest, taking some of the responsiblity. The child! Needs support and care. It is in neglecting her vulnerability that has her in this painfully long lasting situation. All children need US (the grown ups) to be more vigilant before these severly traumatic things happen. As for the system...It cannot ever do more. We must attend to this. It takes time and learning ALL that can be done. It takes personal investment in our own children's daily life. It means paying closer attention and not leaving responsibility in other people's hands.
My prayers are for all those near and far to consider what we CAN DO to heal from this point forward. Blessings to all of you.

Diane, He may be a good man but that gives him NO RIGHT TO HARM INNOCENT CHILDREN! You should be ashamed of yourself defending a CHILD MOLESTER! He was found GUILTY!!! One less CHILD MOLESTER OFF THE STREETS!

I have known Bob Theile for over 25 years.
He is of good character and would never harm
a child, EVER! Because he pleaded no contest,
this may be upon attorney advice. In reality
it is the child's word verses his word. It
may have been that the child, for some reason
would bring these charges, through false
allegations, and misguided prompting. I choose
not to judge him, as I know him to be of a solid
heart and someone who has good intentions in all
that he does.

Hey a friend in Santa Cruz. Check the police reports. He admitted to doing this. He is a child molester and should kill himself!!!

People who are inappropriate with children do not wear a red flag on their head. They don't stick out in a crowd. And typically, these predators work where they have access to their prey...which might account for the disproportionate number of teachers accused. Higher standards need be used.
