We're all bankrupt says Mary Eddy, and its the Democrats' fault. That leaves very little room for discussion, but I will say this. Like the several trillion dollars deficit that Obama inherited from the Bushies had nothing to do with the Repugs! Seem to me, Mary, that there are still some very rich people and corporations around despite last fall's crash. Seems to me, also, you defended the right of the rich to keep most all of their money, and that would create jobs. How did you figure that? Surprise, Mary, your warped political, economic, and social views now have a paper trail. As do the criminal actions of various sundry memebers of the Bush Administration. And how can we ever forget that, huh, Mary dear?

Right on, Jay, but I don't think you should discourage Mary from constantly providing us with humor in the Post. Gawd knows we need a few laughs these days.

Sure, Dode, but it's alright to make fun of her in return, isn't it? That's why I hope Sarah Palin, and her family, don't go away, completely. Look at the excellent adult documentaries Larry Flint film enterprises have made about her. Though Sarah hardly measures up to cougar starlet Lisa Ann who has "played" her, does she? 36DD and counting!!

Mary Eddy:

Democrats? You should be ashamed of yourself.
You also should not be posting until you know what you're talking about.
Spewing hate at will is no way to achieve anything.
Grow up, I assume you're an adult.
Quit making a fool of yourself: If you're going public with something, research it and make reasonable comments and observations.
'Course, you provide much humor for us all.......
Thanks for that.

Shame, Dode . I thought you would have "mellowed" in your 84 years on earth. As for Jay, there is no hope for him. But I guess there is no explaining "strange bed-fellows". My impression of you is, you have held you own and made your own way in your life. My impression of Jay Caster is that he is a "taker" and has been, for his entire life. I may be wrong, just as you may be wrong about Mary Edy and Sarah Palin! Think about it!

But I wasn't worrying before your sermon. And you got my age wrong. As for mellowing, it won't happen. As Popeye would say, "I yam what I yam." As for being happy, I like what Maxine says -- "As you slide down the banister of life, may the splinters never point the wrong way!"

Sorry about getting your age wrong; I've seen 83 and 84 on these forums. If I missed it, happy birthday.(not that it matters). I like this one, "it's not the years you have lived, but the miles you have traveled". If you think that was a "sermon", just wait till Sunday! Hope you have a good day!

When you criticise me anonymously, at least get the spelling of my name right, Unrealist. How exactly do you deduce that I'm a "taker" from what I have printed here? If I was a conscienceless con man, wouldn't I be a multi-millionaire, or in prison? I may be a Jay-bird, but not a jailbird, NOR a mega-corporation CEO! Are you?

No, I'm not. I also don't assume that anyone who has more money than I do, had to have gotten it by being a "con-man" with no conscience. I don't assume that somehow I have a RIGHT to take from those with more, just because they have more than I do.

P.S. A Jay Castor by any other spelling is still a "Jay Caster".

To Our darling Miss Eddy,

You failed to mention that all the statistics you rolled off were the same with the Bush (Boy George) administration.

Why are you lambasting those current Democrats and leaving the equally guilty Republicans alone?

Are you biased Miss Eddy?

Do you have an agenda?

Or are you just being the sad little goof that you have always been and we have grown to love.

Mary,

Don't change. We all need a good laugh now and again.

God Bless

Mary Eddy: How powerful the Democratic Party must be that they were able to do all that in less than a year. The 8 years of Republican Party rule had nothing to do with the condition our country is in today. Gosh, it's all so simple.

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Aquarius

Diplomacy is your middle name today, so make the most of it while it lasts. It will be just what you need if you've been waiting for the right time to raise a tricky topic with you-know-who, and it will also come in handy if you're caught up in a potentially sensitive conversation with someone and you want to extricate yourself as smoothly as possible.
