Three suspects arrested after fatal shooting in Texas County

Anyone have any ideas who the victims or suspects are? It's kinda creepy knowing that something like this could happen in such a small town...

The fatal shooting victim is Travis Walker, 19. The three arrested were Kurt Geise and his two sons, Nathanial and Andrew.

These people live in Willow Springs and, yes, it is pretty creepy. You figure something like that would happen in big city places.

who was the other person injured??

What I've heard is Bobby Brummet. Don't know him personally, but knew Travis.

It's such a tragedy. I actually associated with both of them. Has anyone heard any reports of the cause of the shooting? Just a heated argument...or something worse? It's impossible to find anything out right now.

We will probably never really know the truth of the incident, not unless you know someone who was there. Probably won't know any details until charges are actually filed against the ones arrested/in jail. My fear is it's something worse...

My daughter was good friends with Travis and dated Bobby for a short time. She has spoken to Bobby and Amanda (another young girl who was present)- apparently, the younger brother was holding the gun to Travis's chest making him beg for his life. Travis attempted to move the gun slightly away from his chest was shot him. If that's not bad enough, the gun was then held on the other five people in the car when they begged to let them take Travis to the hospital they were told that if they moved they would be shot as well. Basically - this man and his sons allowed Travis to die. The coroner has stated that if Travis had recieved medical attention quickly, he could have survived his wounds. It's a sad thing and this man and his sons need to pay for what they have done. Travis was shot in the back seat of the car - what kind of threat could he have presented the backseat of a vehicle? Makes no sense to me.

do you know if Bobby passed away? I had heard that he did and just wanted to make sure. This is all so sad!

no Bobby did not pass away i have talked to him since this happened he is doing ok he has broken ribs and a huge lump on his leg

Thank you for the reply. I am glad that he is doing okay! Several people had told me that he passed away during the night last night. We will be praying for him during this time.

this whole thing started a while ago with bobby and andrew then they got in a fight and then travis got involved and it went from there but stuff like this isnt supposed to happen in willow springs those boys need to pay for what they did

I do hope the Geises pay for what they have done, but what can ever bring back a dead kid? And what kid of father raises kids that take pleasure in killing and terrorizing, and takes part in it himself. Hard to believe it happened in Willow Springs.

I agree that Kurt and the boys should be held responsible for what they did. I've known Kurt and the boys for a very long time and time and again Kurt has been a bad influence on his kids. Messed up in drugs, cheating on his wonderful wife who took him back time and time again...rejecting Jesus, who he used to love and serve...you never know what will happen when you live for self and forget all about Jesus! I feel so bad for the victims and their families, but I also feel horrible for Kurt, Nathaniel, and Andrew!

The unfortunate thing is it is NOT gossip. The facts remain that a boy is dead at the hands of the Geises. The circumstances are tragic, and everyone involved has lost in this situtation.

thanks for not being rude because your right this is a tragic situation and i am best friends with tommy and andy and yes i would just appreciate it if people would stop saying mean things about them. w/b

well hold on tommy just killed someone and you expect people not to say mean things well i think its kind of expected dont you

Kurt did not incourage those boys to kill or terrorize anyone its not the Geise's families fault that Travis and them came to the house and threatened to kill the whole family. i think you would want to do something to help and tommy got shot to so lay off please. quit causing gossip if you just know things from hear say(gossip) thank you

well i just think that you guys should mind your own business and let the people deal with it. i went out with nathanael for 2 years and he never did anything wrong. all he was doing is self-defence. travis was the one who pulled the gun on him first. travis was looking for trouble when he showed up at their house and started yelling out wrong words. so yeah some people around here think that yeah it was wrong but they brought them selves in to it. maybe they should have been minding their own business
