betcha the sherrif was on the wrong side and overcorrected, I've seen it happen to tourists, freak out on a narrow road...bam!

the Moon kid was most likely partying under the bridge and some bad blood came up....

Pave -- in response to your question about the view from Big Rock ... I haven't been up there for a while but I'm sure it has changed. Lots of new housing where the airport and old trailer park used to be. The Orleans Hotel and the old brush shed are gone. The tribe's building new facilities in front of the school. It's a different place than it was 20 years ago.

I wish the T-S would change the Red Cap Bridge error -- I'm sure it's what the sheriff's office told them -- oh, well -- there's just a couple of us who know the difference, I guess.

i was still around when they burned the hotel down. it's been a while since i was up on big rock as well, it was always a good place to go to clear your thoughts, if no one else was there.

The ER says that witness are not being cooperative with the investigation. Wouldn't they guy who got shot know who shot him? Maybe if it was dark, but at 7:00 in Orleans, it should have been light enough to see.

There are a lot of great places to clear your thoughts and have a lot of fun. Orleans gets a bad rap but there are a lot of us who love the place and as long as you don't hang out with the few people who give it a bad reputation, things are great. Headed that way this weekend. Have a visitor coming up from Napa -- maybe we'll take her up to Big Rock.
