This is the kind of story I like to see in the Willits News. Since most of us couldn't be on the front lines of the fires, these kinds of stories were what I was looking for. I was curious about how this fire was affecting the animals and what kinds of dramas were happening out there. The New York Times had some great, in depth coverage of the fire in one of their articles.

To find out about the Jumbo Jet Supertankers (that will stop these fires cold) that the US Forest Service and CalFire ARE NOT USING - see: evergreen supertanker (on internet) and waterbomber.org ------(ednemechek@verizon.net)
