Great Mother/Baby bonding there. How can you not know if you have YOUR OWN child? I expect we will be seeing this mother in the news at some point in the future, and not for winning the Nobel Prize.

When my kids where born, tags were put on them in the room right after they were born and I verified the information. They always checked the tags before doing anything and they were checked when we left. We weren't allowed to remove them until we got home.

Obviously something went wrong here. And yes, I can see how you can not recognize your own child, you just met them and they do alike.

Curious as to how a woman leaves with the wrong baby? What mother doens't recognize her own flesh and blood? More importantly, how does a hospital mix up the babies? They are supposed to match up the arm bands with the baby! Quite the astounding mix up here.

They do look alot alike when they are newborns though.Good thing it wasnt 5 or 10 years later that they found out.

I think babies look an awful lot alike at birth. But a few other thoughts for all you mommy-haters out there:

A.) Why not opine about why daddy dear did notice the baby switch?
B.) Most moms/babies are released after just 24 hours. Exactly how much bonding time and facial memorization does that allow for? Or should mommy stay awake intently staring at her child for 24 hours after a day of labor?
C.) Babies change by the hour following birth. I wouldn't recognize the red squished up face of a newborn vs that same baby's face a day later.

That's messed up..what if the kid got older say about 15 or 16.gets into an arguement with the parants and tells them that "your not my not my mom and dad".And would be right.

When my son was taken from the hospitol it was easy to identify him..... he started getting scabs on his knees within just 24 hours.

I think this happened to me! I think I was supposed to be sent home with my REAL rich, upwardly mobile parents! Now some brat has my family and my money! I'm so p.o.'d!

" wrong baby " what did that innocent little one do wrong ? I think you meant not her baby or different baby, or other mother's baby. Let me check your jobs ads to see if you are asking for a good editor.
