1 I ate perfect which was 5 small meals a day including: baked or grilled chicken or fish, fresh greens and veggies, complex carbs like oatmeal and flax seed bread, and lowfat dairy. with raw almonds and blue berrys for snack. I stopped drinking soda, sweet tea, and juices, and drank a gallon of water a day along with unsweetened green tea, and black coffee. I stopped eating potatoes, white pastas, white rice and white breads and added brown rice, whole wheat pasta and smart balance wraps into my diet but only tried to eat the good carbs for breakfast and lunch not dinner. and the last change was I exercised for one-2 hours a day. and i don't mean walkin the track, i mean weight training and cardio. I got the p90x system you see on tv and holy crap. It will cut you out quick. you don't need fancy machines either, just a set of dumbbells. Yeah the routine sucks but once you get in a habit, it becomes routine. stop trying to find a miracle diet or drug and do it the right way. my blood pressure before was running on average around 175/105 now it is 120/70, my blood sugar was running up around 130-140 range, now it is around 80-90. all my labs are perfect. and i have about 50 times more energy. i added these as well, I take a one a day vitamen, a flax seed oil pill, an omega three pill,chromitin, and a green tea extract pill from garden of life. keep in mind that i did this change all at once, the first week will be hell, but the second third and so on will continue to make you feel better and give your more energy than you have ever had |
