Last week I stopped by the Dairy Queen for a banana split and a cup of ice water. When the bill was totaled I saw they had charged $1.30 for the ice water. I spoke to the manager who said she would pass on my objection to the owner.

If the owners want repeat customers, they need to treat the ones they have fairly.

Restaurants who value their customers and want their repeat business wouldn't stoop so low as to charge for water and if they do then at least be reasonable.$1.30 for a couple of ounces of water is out of line to its actual cost.

A lot of the prices in the deli do not make any sense. It was $17.00 for a meat and two cold, soggy vegetables/sides. The women are good cooks. The servers should make sure the food is hot and fairly charged.

The margin of profit on their food is high enough not to have to charge for water otherwise they couldn't remain in business. The owners want to discourage people from asking for water or they are simply being greedy and trying to squeeze every last penny they can from their customer. When enough people refuse to pay for it and complain to the management, DQ will stop this practice.

$1.30 for water lets see getting to be bitched at- free, eating sloppy food-optional-setting at dirty tables, most allways-getting a kwel drink of water
83.20 a gallon. I have ate at this dairy queen quite often on my way to pikeville .Allways get Ice water NEVER LOOKED AT THE the bill, never seen it on the menue, will never stop at that place again,I like dealing with Independant owners, but I,ll find another place to stop,I don,t like vultures that would rip off a kid riding his bycicle&needing a kwel drink of water&have to spend all the money he made that day on water. The tight wad at least should put in a water fountain.Anyway you can not charge for water in wv.

Dairy Queen is a front for the Illuminati. The food contains micro tracking devices so that when you eat there, they can follow you from their secret satellites. When society breaks down, who will control everything? Agents of the shadow government, that's who! And who are the shadow government agents? Dairy Queen employees. The Mark of the Beast won't be a "666" it will be a red Dairy Queen symbol. If you know anyone who works at a Dairy Queen, you should be really nice to them, but don't give them any personal information. They will use it against you. It's true, it's all true.

You guys forget, you're also paying for the containers, the fridge units, the water bill, the electric bill, the employees. When you buy anything you're not just buying the product. You're buying everything you see, and don't see with it.

I work at DQ not the one in Williamson, but another one and we charge 0.40 for an ice water, and if you think about it we are really only charging for the cup. The cup that the owner DOES have to pay for! And yeah the owner has to pay a water bill each month, so I don't see a problem with charging for it. Although, if you were charged 1.30 they cheated you bad!! At the DQ I work at we don't even have a way of ringing up an actual ice water, we just ring up extra candy and the receipt says 0.40.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Pisces

It's a great day for fixing anything that needs attention now. That might be a dripping tap, a sick child, an unpaid bill or a miffed partner. However, you'll do particularly well if you need to sort out something connected with official or joint finances or red tape. You might be asked to help someone deal with a bureaucratic problem, especially if they're elderly.
