Judged: 1 1 1 In the Bible, in Job 40:15–24, God describes to Job (who lived after the Flood) a great beast with which Job was familiar. This great animal, called “behemoth,” is described as “the chief of the ways of God,” perhaps the biggest land animal God had created. Impressively, he moved his tail like a cedar tree! Although some Bible commentaries say this may have been an elephant or hippopotamus, the description actually fits that of a dinosaur like Brachiosaurus. Elephants and hippos certainly do not have tails like cedar trees! Actually, very few animals are singled out in the Bible for such a detailed description. Contrary to what many may think, what we know now as dinosaurs get more mention in the Scriptures than most animals! So dinosaurs—all the different kinds—must have lived alongside of people after the Flood |

Judged: 1 1 ah, but where is mention on cave people? because the people described in the bible certainly do not sound anything like the people that wrote on cave walls..and what of the ice age? yes i hear of a flood, but certainly not of an ice age, or any major event that leaves us without dinosaurs, people etc.. |

Judged: 1 1 The Bible describes a number of ‘cavemen’. In Genesis, we find that Lot was once a ‘caveman’(after he fled Sodom). When David was running from King Saul, he lived in a cave. Obadiah hid a hundred prophets in a cave and fed them bread and water, to save them from Jezebel. To escape the Midianites, the Israelites lived temporarily in caves. Elijah himself lived in a cave. Even Job mentions people who lived in caves (Job 30:6). http://www.answersingenesis.org/creation/v26/... The reason the Ice Age is not directly discussed in the Bible is probably because the Scandinavian ice sheet and mountain ice caps were farther north than the region where the Bible was written. Only an increase in the snow coverage of Mt. Hermon and possibly more frequent snowfalls on the high areas of the Middle East would have been evident to those living in Palestine. It is possible that the book of Job, written about 500 years or so after the Flood, may include a reference to the Ice Age in Job 38:29–30, which says,“From whose womb comes the ice? And the frost of heaven, who gives it birth? The waters harden like stone, and the surface of the deep is frozen.” http://www.answersingenesis.org/creation/v26/... |

Archaeological evidence demonstrates the historical and cultural accuracy of the Bible. Link contains interesting article with photos. http://biblicalstudies.info/top10/schoville.h... |

Judged: 1 1 ...you. The Bible says if you seek him you will find him. If you knock it shall be opened. The day you become...'born again' as described in John Chapter 3, it will all become very clear. Which brings me back to the proof of 'you'. When you become 'born again' the Holy Spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ comes to make his abode within you. It is this Holy Spirit that bares witness of our Lord Jesus Christ. He's meek. And the experience is personal. I encourage you to seek out Jesus Christ! |

Judged: 1 It is better to live as if there is a God to find out there is not then to live like there is NOT a God to find out there is. But then again, I have seen several of your comments, including the one on the Belfry forum stating that you are bi-sexual and encouraging teenagers to be theirselves and explore whatever life style they want, against what their parents (who support them) so your opinion is not needed, asked for or would ever hold water in a world outside of your little fantasy. Oh yeah, that was just my opinion....lol |

Judged: 1 OBVIOUSLY we did not witness it, OBVIOUSLY we don't have physical evidence.. it's a little thing called faith, Amb. It's not something thats simply accepted. Lots of people aren't taught religion at a young age. You speak of it as if it is a math problem, we accept 2+2=4 because we were taught it at a young age, but religion is something one BELIEVES in and it is in their heart. |

Im jus sayin, im the kind of person that, if you want me to believe something, i have to understand WHY i should believe it. I want proof thats its real before i can believe it. I jus dont kno how so many people can believe in something, and rely all of that belief on things that are in a book "supposedly" written by people of God about "actual" events..Idk, i jus cant accept things are ture because some one says they are.
I used to go to church and all of that, but i left, i realized i couldnt accept those beliefs just because i was supposed to... to "citizen" i appreciate your comment..but i have to tell you, jus because someone doesnt have faith, doesnt make them bad or selfish. I personally do not have faith, yet i think about others, i try to be a good person, i do moral thngs..not because i feel as though i have to becuase "GOd's watching" but because in the end it all comes down to a simple rule i was taught as a child "treat others as you would have them treat you" and of course, "karma always comes back on ya". i would also like to state, jus because you have faith and are religious, doesnt make you moral. I mean, how many popes, priests, etc have sexually abused children? Did you know alot of serial killers believe tehy are "doing Gods work"...religion isnt what makes you moral..And im not downin your opinion, i jus want you to kno that people with different beliefs or no belief, arent always bad people.. |

Maybe not everyone is taught religion a young ages...but how many people have thier infants baptised? HOw many 4 year olds are in sunday school? Do you really think those children will grow up ad question the bible? the thing theyve been taught since childhood? NO, they probably wont. My point was that alot of people "believe" because theyve always been to church, theyve been told thier whole life aboput God andd all those biblical things, so of course they "believe" of course they feel it in thier heart. Im not saying this is the case with everyone that believes, but it is with many.. |

The thing with the comment on the belfry forum, I dont see what that has to do with GOD, but, okay. And The girl said she had a girlfriend already she was jus afraid to show affection because of what people might think, so i told her, be true to yourself. ever did i tell her to be gay, never did i tell her to go against her parents, i dont kno who the girl is, who her parents are, none of that, I jus gave a little advice telling her to do what makes her happy. SO dont go on about me encouraging gayness, she was already gay before my comment. I mena, what would you preferme do? tel lher its evil and against gods way and shes gonna rot in hell? Yeah didnt think so... and hun, if my opinion isnt worthy of topix, keep this in mind, i was having a convo with someone else, not you, so perphaps YOUR opinion is not needed, asked for or wanted here =] NOw, if you can stick to the topic at hand, i more than welcome any comments, if you only wanna get on here and b!tch about me, ill jus ignore you...so thanx for your cooperation.. |
