Death Penalty Sought in

At a scheduled press conference Friday, August 25, District Attorney Scott Ballard says he'll seek the death penalty against a man accused of killing a Pike County woman.

I do not think the death penalty is God's way. It will not bring back the lady who was killed and it will violate God's law. Sure, the killer violated God's law, but that does not mean that we should as well.

I think the District Attorney is playing politics with the death of this porr lady. The death penalty will only cost Pike County a lot of money and no good will come of it.

Thou shall not kill. I agree with Mr Jones. I think the man should spend the rest of his life in prison without parole.

I think the death penalty is justifiable in such
cases as this one. Capital punishment has been here sense the begining of time. It was Gods way of doing things then and its our way of doing things NOW!
