This place is AMAZING!, the best pizza i've ever had. Chef Hassen is incredible. I was in Oct. 21st and i had the 16 in handtossed newyork style pizza and it was amazing. I was served by Vangeli ( as seen on my ticket) by FAR the best server i've ever had really knows how to make a place feel like home. congrads on the new place it was unbelievable prices, atmosphere, music, and most important the homemade pizza dough and greek entre. congrads Hassen and Georgia Salih. You will see my again

Incredible food! I lived in Williamsburg Virginia for about 18 years, Me and my family decided to come out and eat and we relised that the new restaurant scala pizzeria was FINALLY open so we decided to give it a try. From the outside didnt look like it was gonna be good ( but you cant judge a book by it's cover. We walked in and was in shock to the decoration and the atmosphere and the greek music. So we sat down and started reading the 4 page authentic menu they had. I had the Pork kabobs and my 2 kids had the 16 in. pizza and my husband had the lamb shanks. IT WAS AMAZING! i was so tired of cheeseburgers french fries, chicken, subs but this had the best of both worlds. And when we were about to pay our waiter advised us to his "Grandmothers homemade baklava" It was deleciouse and i was so happy i found a resonable food and prices, and they will def. see me and my family again. GREAT FOOD AND DESERT

Good Luck,
The Maddox family :):)

And the waiter advised us about his "Grandmothers Homemade baklava" and they were to die for!

We went there for the lunch buffet and thought that the food was just okay, nothing special. The pizza was not warm, the noodles for the pasta were not warm, and we had very limited service. Additionally, the idea of having to take off the catering lid each time you wanted to get something to eat was a bit of annoyance and impractical. The pricing for the lunch buffet was fair, though (only $5.99).
Tried it finally

The food was okay, price was great, service pretty good. I also did not like the removing of catering lids. When you are holding a plate in one hand and holding a lid with the other...you cannot get the food. Overall it is a great option for an inexpensive lunch; salad, soup, pizza and 2 types of pasta dishes. The game room was bigger than I expected, but everything was turned off - I suppose they could turn it on if there were children to use them. I'd say it is worth a trip; cannot beat the price.

Dear chef hassen and his crew
You, your food and your place all suck. I assure you will be out of business soon. You better start thinking about going back to morroco soon then you might be able to serve nasty food and give attitude to customers. Morroco is the place for you.

This place is perfect for the relaxed weekend afternoon when one wishes to avert the grease and calories-laden junk food that we so often tend to eat,(intentionally or unintentionally) and instead opt for a refreshing, tasty and healthy meal that saves money too.

The food was excellent; salads were fresh and the pizza was blissfully thin and crispy. And top this, the service was quite simply, excellent. The staff seemed glad to be serving, and I have to say this because it never seemed the cheesy or in-your-face sort of thing... the smiles were genuine.

I would definitely recommend this place, it's relaxing, and simple... something that we strive to find these days.

I've always had good service at Scala. The rare times I've had a problem with the food, the item was immediately taken off the ticket with profuse apologies. The owner and staff are always very friendly and I tend to think that those people complaining about bad service were quite probably bad customers.

The danger of being a restaurant in a tourist area is that you get 'drive by a*******'. I'm a local. I eat there regularly. It is good, solid food and good, solid service.
