As I remember, Tommy Norment used to drive around with dealer tags on his car, because he somehow represented a local dealership. When this came to light, people would sometimes approach him and ask for a test drive in that car with the dealer tags on it -- much to his irritation.
Does he still sell cars?

If a recent president of W&M can manage the Mariners Museum, it should be a easy job for Norment to take on.

Senator Norment has better things to do with his time. Without him in the senate, who will hand big developers the key to the public purse and our wallets? Who will guide laws through the legislature to make sure Dominion Power gets maximum profits at citizen's expense? Big business would have to hire twice as many lobbyists to get their favors done in the legislature. We can't have average people getting a fair shake in Richmond. Who would take care of the Good Old Boys?

If the qualifications for the job include being a RINO(republican in name only) or a drunk driver, then Norment's your man!

His career highlights left of his DUI and his stellar record of not going on the record by voting for or against gun control laws and higher taxes when the Dems clearly have the votes to pass them.

Norment is a great state senator. The DUI was political payback from Gilmore -- who has not ethics and was mad that Norment pointed out his "tax cut" was fiscal madness. The Richmond Times Dispatch reporter was at the station before Norment and the arresting officers got there asking where he was -- someone called his home and asked him to bring some papers to the capital at ten at night and then the state police picked him up. Those are the same state police who protected Gilmores extra-marital affair. I am glad Tommy got the DUI, took it like a man, and continued to stand up to the demogogary. RINO is only RINO if you think the extreme right, no taxes for any public activity fanatics own the party.
