What elementary school in Whitley Couny is going to be the team to beat?

My bet is Central will win it for both 3rd and 4th and 5th and 6th! What say you?

Absolutely!!! There is no way 5 players can play against 5 players and two refs in any elementary setting.

I have heard that people will be taping the games they play and sending a copy to the athletic director and coach baker. This will show the unbalanced side of how things are even done at the elementary level in this town.

I agree that it is impossible for these young boys to play against the Central and Oak Grove teams when they always have 2 grown men(the referees)on their teams! The refs need to call the games fairly and stop playing favorites no matter where their own children go to school! My goodness, it is Elementary Basketball not the NBA!! ALL children deserve the chance to be treated fairly!!!

i had children play for central and the refs did not favor them over any other team. every year my children played it was always fair, quit blaming the refs to justify your teams loss. i do know the refs miss some calls, but its hard for them to keep their eyes on all of the players. if a ref called every foul or mishap it would take hours to play one of those games, its a learning process for kids that age.

From the two games that Oak Grove and Central played the other night, the refs didn't make a bit of difference in the outcome. The last I heard there was a shortage for referees in the county, you people complaining should speak to someone about officiating since you think it is so unfair.

It's not about sportmanship, it's about being good winners and good losers. It's also about people accusing the county administrators of fixing games for Central and Oak Grove - it just doesn't happen.

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Libra

Get out and about whenever possible today. You're feeling energized and will want to keep active at every opportunity. Leave the car at home if you can and walk to your destination instead, or have a brisk walk in your lunch-hour. It will be even better if you can take a brief holiday from your usual routine and find some different surroundings for a change.
