Every 10 Seconds, an animal is beaten and tortured. Every Hour, 575 are Killed in shelters, due to overcrowding. Every Day, 100's succumb to starvation, injury, and disease. Every Year, over 8 Million, lose their lives. Please, stop the Insanity! R.O.A.R.(reach out and react). There is no excuse for Abuse. Have your pet spayed or neutered. No more litters of critters. Adopt a shelter animal. Saving 1 will not change the world, but it will change the world, for that 1. If we are Human, then we must be, Humane. Don't stand by, while they Die. Bless our 4-legged Friends.

What we really need to do is just start eating more animals. I mean seriously, think of all that meat that is simply going to waste in our country. If we took all the animals out of the shelters and shipped them off to poor 3rd world countries in Africa, think of how many poor little Ethiopian kids would be saved from starvation! Seems like a win-win situation to me, we'd be keeping the stray animals off the street and saving starving children at the same time!

It's time to stop whining and take action people! Write your Congressman today and demand that the US Government ship all stray animals to Africa as a way to combat hunger! Only YOU can make it happen!

If you're so wound up about saving all these stray animals, why don't you take them all in yourself. Oh, whats wrong? You're not THAT committed to your silly little cause? Didn't think so.

Just for the record, one of my favorite hobbies is rounding up stray animals and taking them straight to the pound (where they usually only have two or three days to live). I have no use for strays. They're dirty, they spread disease, and it doesn't take long to go from stray to ferral, at which time they become a threat to other pets and small children.

If you want to put your money where your big, bleeding-heart liberal mouth is, put your address up here and I'll be sure to ship all the strays I come across to you.
