2 armed w/.50 Guns on them. The Army personnel on patrols will be armed w/ 250 rounds a piece for their M-4 and have an M-9 w/ 3 17-round magazines as well. The CBP agents will have their sidearm along w/ one M-4 and a tactical shotgun in their vehicle as well. The two CBP agents will maintain authority but will have 6 man teams (Army Nat. Guard) with them on shift. With all of those folks on the border keeping watch, I'm sure that it would deter a LOT more folks than what they have now, just my two cents... |

The reason it doesn't is manifold:
1. It's inconsistant. There is no common construction and no real barrier. 2. Our government is VERY lax, and that is an understatement, about enforcing the law. 3. Our government actuallly HELPS illegality to take place. 4. Our populace is divided into clueless bleeding hearts, and those that would have our laws obeyed. I'm sure I've just TOUCHED on the reasons. Anyway, in another few years it won't matter. First there will be chaos. Then maybe we'll have a north American union. |
||||
That's BORDER. But I agree nonetheless. We need more than just the military though. We need replacements in Washington who will actually enforce our laws and stop penalizing those who uphold the law. |
||||
No, it's time for Napolitano to LEAVE her post. She is UNFIT for it. |
||||
Disagree here. Landmines would only tear up the countryside. I vote for, are you all ready, fences with machine guns on them. Ah, I can see the "nazi" names coming out already. |
||||
Oh, and by the way, if a guard is CAUGHT accepting a bribe; shoot him on sight. We don't need traitors either. |

No. That's because they are made UP of peabrains. And they don't like competition. |

To ricoman: what would your solution be? BTW, you couldn't come up with anything more clever than "peabrain"? Gotta do better than that...

ricoman couldn't get enough welfare every month so he could get his big screen TV in while in his HUD housing. Another guy that wants his goverment check and wants to blame everyone else for his woes. Probably votes Democrat as well.

This is what happens as a result of being a small bordertown.
In order to make it here in Yuma, you have to either be: 1. a relative or friend of a local Mexican 2. a Caucasian with money/status 3. a local Caucasian 3. a person who kisses up to either a Mexican or a Caucasian from here 4. an apathetic person who does not have any dreams, aspirations, goals and doesn't mind gross and putrid stagnation 5. a person who is close-minded, ignorant, vindictive, spiteful and immature I've lived here for a little over a year, and I have had difficulties with being employed here. I have a college degree and excellent work experience, but that is not what the people are looking for here. The people here are control-freaks that like to hire someone who they think is inferior to them. If you show them that you are a person who has strong convictions, good morals, ethics and values and are not inferior to them, then they gang up on you and drive you out the best way they can. In fact, the people here are extremely threatened by anyone with great qualifications and/or a degree for fear of either being beat out of their positions, or being out-performed, if employed. Unfortunately, for this exact reason, majority (if not all) the orgs./businesses/companies/sch ools, etc. suffer because the job market is saturated by very "UNQUALIFIED" relatives/friends, etc. who they hire to "DO THEIR BIDDING." I posted a comment yesterday stating that the people here are ignorant, spiteful, vindictive and very immature; but my comment got deleted due to "hostile language." But I think that real reason is because THE TRUTH IS BEING SWEPT UNDER THE RUG once again. Example: a person with a Ph.D. with 14+ years experience tops out at $44,000 in many places here. PLUS THE FACT THAT THE LOCALS HERE ARE VERY RACIST WHETHER THEY LIKE TO ADMIT IT OR NOT!

Unfortunately, that is becoming more common is many of the states. It's attitude. And it started in the schools and homes of this country. The homes put up with it, or didn't believe it was happening. And the schools took advantage of the uncaring attitude of the parents. That's just what politicians and control freaks love: someone they can manipulate. If they can't manipulate you, they try to make you look the biggest arse in the universe. |
