CSX shares their tracks with MARC rail service and the Capitol Limited that traveled from Union Station in Washington, D.C. through Maryland, Pennsylvania and to its final destination in Chicago. Industry always came first with track priority, then the Capitol Limited and then the inter-state commuter travel. There was never a question as to the importance and priority of the freight trains.
