Just when I was about to give kudos to the Mexican community (of which I am a member) as to their sterling record of going 3 hours without a gang bang murder or a drive by shooting or a police chase or some other violent crime that puts our public safety at risk, the Mexican criminals rear their ugly heads!!

Is "Victim" the correct term to use on him?? Aren't the officer's, his family and the people in the crashed car the victims?

I know where the Pomona PD station is. It doesn't take them an hour to get from the station to Palamares Street. This just doesn't sound right.

Glad no officers were hurt, but it doesn't take but 1 minute at the most @ 30mph to get to the location that this shooting took place. Then the deceased stayed in the area after creating the disturbance.

The statement released doesn't make any sense at all.

First of all, the police are not like the fire dept, they don't sit around the station wathcing TV, lifting weights, jogging around the block. They are out on patrol and answering calls. Sometime, infact many times, they have so many calls that it can take time to answer all of them, to the point that there is a priority system. Calls such as someone shooting at a house would have been a priority one, but if they have other priority one calls, sometimes others have to wait. It is unfortunate, but it happens. I wonder though, how long after the suspect was seen shooting at the house on Palomares did the first call to police happen? Maybe they did not call at first, but did when he came back. How long was the actual pursuit? After all it could have gone on for close t an hour be for the suspect crashed.

Title of article should read: OIS SUSPECT was armed....I guess this liberal newspaper considers him a victim. I sure dont.

Actually it is pretty clear that it was an hour from when he was reported shooting at the house to when he forced the cops to shoot him, There was a car chase in between. Get it now?

You're judged by your acts. You don't kneed to know this "victim". By reports he got the attention of the police by firing a weapon at a home. When the police arrived he fired at them and fled which led to a car crash that had 'actual victims' he then fired again at the police. I don't kneed to know anything else about this sleaze. He would have killed those police officers if he could have and had zero regard for anyone else while fleeing the police leading to crash victims.
