Latimer Co Sheriff Election

Has anyone heard who is planning on running for Sheriff in the next election? Who would you like to see?

I heard Roy Duggan is going to make a run at it again.

I heard there is going to be someone running that is honest and proud of Wilburton and Latimer County, he has talked to a few people that know his family and trust him to do a good job, I hope he runs as he has said he plans too. He will give the county a pride that we have not had in a while and make us happy we voted for him.

It is time for a change. I have not seem any real law inforcement in Latimer Co. Maybe the change needs to start with New County Comm.,s They have to have interest in the S.O. for it to work properly. And get a real Assst. D.A. He ties the hands of the Police and S.O.

there will be real law enforcement in Latimer county if the right person gets elected, he doesn't mind going head to head with the asst d.a. or any one else that is breaking the law. and it is about time we got fresh blood in that position. Dugan did not get it the last time he ran because the people did not have faith in him.

Robbie Brooks is named the new sheriff of Latimer County. Please tell this this is wrong. How can we go from bad to worst.

I read your post right after they appointed Robbie as sheriff. I didnt pay it much mind until I woke up one morning to find the police department and sheriffs department had busted the house down the road. I had complained to the old sheriff and police chief for months about that house and nothing got done. I figured it wouldnt do any good to call the new chief and sheriff so I let it go. All I can say is it looks like they are doing one heck of a job to me. I even noticed that they are working together on the thieves running around.

What happened to the ex-sheriff? Did the Jamison disappearance cause the problem.

The ex sheriff supposedly decided to take a betteer paying job with Blackwater.

Now that its almost time to file, who have you heard is running for Sheriff and who will you be supporting?

Be sure its NOT gonna be Robbie Brooks or Roy Duggan!!!!

I heard Jesse James and Markus Ward Are both running.

Oh God not Jesse James.... Help us! I like Markus Ward but is he certified?

He was a deputy for Beauchamp so I would assume he is certified.

He is CLEET certified and has a degree from EOSC in criminal justice! Hes getting my vote!
