what a colossal waste of money. I can't believe something like this gets tax exempt status. These animals should be butchered for pet food, Leather, Glue and other valuable by products. Veterans are having their benefits cut so money can be used on wasteful things Like tax exempt homes for these jug heads.

Well, Because you feel as though you can make the choice over someone/thing else's existance and you choose to end that, I must inform you that I am now your controller. Go jump off a cliff. A life is a life, horse or human. Regards.

Go jump off a cliff. A life is a life, horse or human. Regards. "A life is a Life" maybe if you are a Pagan animist. But,one life is not equal to another life when you are speaking of life in general. You are mistaken at such a basic level that there is really no point in trying to explain the differences to you. I would venture a guess that you lack the basic life skills that would allow you to form normal bonds with members of your own species so you are grasping for validation from anything with a pulse.I guess you know what your life is worth and it may be that yours is worth no more than say a cockroach ?? After all you said it.

Once again the Humane Society of United States and its affiliates score a big one. GFAS accreditation means absolutely nothing. They spouted the Heneke Score until Dr. Don Heneke stated publically for ALL rescues to stop. It was never developed for rescues...only ideal breeding weights in Quarter Horses. They do NOT have qualified teachers however they do know how to interrogate animal owners and manipulate the media. Thank goodness Canterbury was able to stop HSUS, DEFHR, Gentle Giants, Paradise and numerous other groups of this ilk.
