Why were the court records sealed from a public employee's court case and punishments? Surely in this sort of proceeding, the public has a right to know. After all, the wrongdoing was in conjunction with his position as a school superintendent. What gives?

Now Teacher's Retirement Sevice has a final decision that Doug Walsh has absconded with over half a million dollars over the past l0 years. And now he owes it back, with interest. The honest hardworking teachers who have faithfully paid in over this past decade have reason to celebrate that this wrong-doing is being corrected. Doug Walsh has been lining his pockets all the while being a scofflaw and making a mockery of the system.

Don't hold your breath, folks. Doug Walsh has been hired back as full-time superintendent. Does that alone not convince you that his previous retirement (one'third supt. and two-thirds consultant) was pure farce? So now, he gets the half million in "retirement benefits" and a larger than ever salary, so when he truly retires in three years, his last three year average salary will be based on $l05K so he will get even more from TRS. Justice in Montana is laughable. And in Walsh's case, he is laughing all the way to the bank... It is a sickening mess here in the Ennis School system. Good, honest hardworking teachers ought to be outraged.

Take a look at the Bozeman Daily Chronicle editorial baord opinion on February 3rd. It finally clearly states the illegality of how our new $9 milion school was funded and built. Sounds to me like a possible class action suit would be in order from the residents of Big Sky, MT.. After all, they put up over 78 cents of every dollar taxed for that new school (almost $7 milion). Wonder if any of the bankruptcies there could have been avoided if they had not been being overtaxed to fund the "adult education" levy, all without any way to vote on whether they were in support of a new Ennis school. Big Sky as cash cow. Arrogance on the part of the Ennis school officials is right, as BDC opinion column stated.

Doug Walsh is resigning at the end of the school year from his post as superintendent of Ennis Schools. Could it have anything to do with the final opinion by Attorney General Steve Bullock that exactly mirrors his preliminary opinion that the building of the new $9 million school out of adult education funds is entirely illegal? That opinion is just newly released by the office of the attorney general.

Doug Walsh should resign immediately! He is nothing but a lying thief and a bully! Ennis Schools will be better off without him and his great example of how to cheat the system. I cannot believe people are supporting him!

Kudos to the Montana Standard, see Ennis school ordered to conduct an audit to fully expose the funding of the new grade school and whatever other expenditures may be occuring from the adult education fund. And thank goodness for the courage and persistence of Madison County Treasurer Burke, to continue to point out the impropriety of the bulging Ad. Ed. fund. It was like a tick about to burst.

Read the last three weeks of the Big Sky News, regarding the Ennis schools, and also the school board candidates positions on the upcoming comprehensive audit of the Ennis schools. Very telling answers. Was hate mail a part of the Doug Walsh saga in Plentywood? Just asking...
