Money Quote: "Chairman Burns questioned the county administrator as to why a change (to exclude Mulholland) was made.“All I can tell you is that the sheriff and the two chiefs said they could manage it better without having to get Joe involved..."

Why would Mulholland want yet another responsibility? He's complaining that he won't have voting authority on the Board. Yet he was late to the meeting and left early. Just ask fellow educators how No Show Joe's attendance record for attendance protocol meetings is.(Even after his scholarship lottery was invented.

The Grady Count sheriff and police chiefs don't want Mulholland involved because then their shady practices will get busted. I think 90% of the cops in Cairo have been bought and paid off!!!

especially when one of the individuals that live on this street is suppose to do weekends and hasn't done it yet, and laughs about it, and the mexican that lives there brags about the money he is making...Drug task force really needs to do the job they get paid for..

everyone looks for someone else to blame. The cops, the schools... always someone else. This didn't get this way with one person or group for that matter and it's not going to get cleand up with just one person or group trying to fix the problems. It has to start at home and then continue with the communities, the city, and the county as a whole! If you are not willing to step up and take an acting part to help then keep your mouth shut. Talk is cheap!

This county cannot afford to create a drug task force. We are still trying to recover, lets just get the officers that we do have and give them more support to put in more time and let them know that they can step up and fight the war on drugs. TO OUR COMMISIONERS - STOP SPENDING THE MONEY ON TRYING TO MAKE EXTRA TASK FORCES, WE HAVE POLICE

We do not need a drug task force. We have plenty officers on the street who make traffic stops. Lets get them a drug dog to sniff the cars and it will at least cut down on the drugs traveling by roads, then we don't have to have all the extra money spent on a new department and no new benefits being spent

it really ouldnt do any good for a new drug task force because the cops we have now cant do there job!!! If they could then they wouldnt need to get the buyer to try and bust the seller/ maker. You cannot ask me to break a law just because you dont know how to do your own damn job... for example if soeone was to get caught with meth and they ask to buy some from that persn again so they can catch them... No matter how you look at it its still breaking the law. The law CANNOT ask you to break the law... So you need another proffesion if you cant do your job right!!!

The cops here arint worth a crap anyways they are just pissed off because they didnt make it in oklahoma city thats why we have the fucking rookeys. And they just wanna make everybodys life worser than what it is. They are no better than no body just because they have a badge and gun. Well let me tell yall we can also carry a wepon it just has to be regesterd. So instead of them worrying abought drug bust they need to worry abought the child pedifiles and murderest that live in our naborhoods.and most of the people in tuttle is to judgemental anyways if you dont have money and your not tuttle staff then you auint shit hear but anther trophy to them. Thats my oppinion about tuttle law inforcement.?........ Sighning out F T P

I just moved here a few weeks ago and can already see the drug activity.. It is way out of control! I am law enforcement and have worked narcotics and a dog. to the person that said that all they need is a dog im have to day that you are partially wrong. yes a narcotics detection k9 would be a great asset to the departments it will not work the problems out alone. you will need a unit thats only responsibility is to enforce traffic and narcotics in order for it to be effective. the patrol units are already stretched enough and don the time to focus primarily on narcotics or traffic and make sure your homes and business are safe. My prayers and thoughts are with the Grady County Sheriff's Office and the Cairo Police Dept.
