Doc McGinnis is a very good Dr. I have been a patient of his since he 1st came to town. I never have a problem getting an appointment. I can call his office if I am sick and he will see me the same day. If I need him in emergencies, his answering service relays a message to him and he calls me at home. He is an excellant Dr. I have nothing but good things to say about him. All the "haters" on here are probably druggies that can`t pass a drug test because he does do testing. He will kick you out if you are abusing ur Rx or using drugs ur not suppose to be taking. So if u want a Doc for recreation drug use. Go elsewhere. He`s not 4 u.

No Trudy, I`m not funny, I`m very serious. The only people that don`t like Dr. McGinnis are Druggies who couldn`t get pills from him because they abused their meds. So perhaps Trudy, I,ve hit a nerve with u.

He will get you addicted to pain pills and then cut you off. I know for a fact that he prescribes a lot of pain pills because I used to work for him. He will get you addicted, cut you off and then tell you that you need his Suboxin program, which costs 150.00 per session. It's a great scam, but very bad Karma!

The only drugs I happen to be on are for high blood and diabetes. I don't think those are very addictive. You need to read the blog from "laptop" she knows what she is talking about. So if taking my "meds" make me a druggie, so be it. That doesn't strike a nerve. What strikes a nerve are people who don't know the truth when it hits them in the head. I guess all of these people are lying about him being a BIG PILL PRESCRIBER? Idiot.

Don't go to him unless all you want is pills. He is not a doctor in my book. He will give all kind of tests that you don't need so he gets a kick back from them. He will ignore your symptoms and not listen to you if you want to see a specialist that he is not friends with. It is the patients choice who they see not his. He is a snobby little prick as far as i'm concerned. He has let patients die from ignoring their symptoms. he gets elderly patients hooked on pills they don't need. My friend was being treated for diabetes and changed doctors to find out she was not diabetic at all! I could go on and on. He is a quack and that is my obinion.

Tell me, what other DR. do you know has an MRI truck come to their office and do tests? Maybe others do but I have never heard of them. Have you? Any tests I may have had made I would have gone to the hospital and had made. Of course he is not my dr. I know for a fact he does order many tests, many mri's, etc. I think this is to cover his a__ as to why he does prescribe so many pills. He has those tests behind him just in case anyone asks. I don't understand why he hasn't been investigated just from what I know about a family members addiction to pain(morphine and oxycontin and muscle relaxers) all being prescribed at the same time to be taken throughout the day. Now what kind of life do you think they are leading?? Yep, zonked out or in a drug induced daze and on the virge of overdosing anyday and he is the prescriber. All because of some back pain. Who doesn't have back pain when they get some age on them?? So there you go. Uphold him but I do think his prescription writing is very questionable. Ask any other doctor and they will tell you this is not a normal way to treat back pain. Let one of your family members get addicted to pain pills and maybe you will change your mind. And yes they still complain of pain all day long so what good are the pills? They don't work because they have built up such an immunity to them so by taking the trio they are in such a daze that they don't even know how much or what they are taking. Now why would I lie about this? Not!! So take your high tech way of monitoring his precscriptions, its not working obviously if what I am saying is true. I am sure my family member is not the only one in this situation either. He has a big practice. So I do think someday this will come to a head but how many lives will be destroyed before it happens.

Lets see, he has been in the ambulance business,(I think), the MRI business, drug addiction program (of which I find ironic seeing as how he is the one who prescribes the drugs his patients get addicted to), and on top of that he is a physician. Wow! Have to admire his ambition.I don't know how he has time to be a doctor with all this going on. Or does he?

I went to him thinking I was gonna get some pain meds. After I passed my drug test, I REALLY thought I was gonna hit the jackpot. I walked out with ibuprofen and ultram. I had a 12 month old mri that they said wasnt current enough. Needed a new one. Needless for me to say, I didn't like him, didn't get anything good from him...that sucked and so does he.
