What happened to the days when entreprenuers had beepers/cells and a regular clientale. No need to conduct business in a area under scrutiny.
Gas stations, corner stores, car washes are all high traffic areas where strangers can mingle briefly.

I guess the Trib no longer hires editors -- or if they do, they are not in Chicago. Any Chicagoan knows that the neighborhood cited as the location of the drug buy is not Garfield Ridge.
And Zell thinks making more staff cuts will help the Trib...
The whole story should have been spiked and the reporter fired. I learned more about the situation from watching the TV news than what I read here. I read the Trib to get the detail that you don't get in a three minute sound bite on TV. Clearly, the reporter was lazy and stupid. Couldn't get the story told and didn't bother to look up the neighborhood identification. That latter element would have taken about two minutes.

Forest Park has been battling this problem for years. Young white underage suburbanites with drug addictions regularly frequent a Forest Park gas station off of the Eisenhower. The dopers shoot their drugs there and then GET BACK on the IKE for the drive home!!!
The gas station owner has tried EVERYTHING to get the dopers from using his property. Forest Park police, security, you name it. They keep coming.
We have ENOUGH of our OWN problems in (fill in the blank) Maywood, Forest Park, Oak Park, River Forest, Elmwood Park, Cicero, Berwyn.
These two animals are a blight on society and give their respective communities a black eye. Exactly. If those whitebread suburbs were more racially integrated these white kids could get their illegal drugs closer to home.

Here is a solution will never happen though legalize drugs so there wont be a problem regulated non-violent offenders should see a doctor not be in prison for animals to attack them and then we can get rid of the Black hole.

where are all the knuckleheads that were here on friday who were so quick to cast this incident as just another inner city, gangbanger, public housing refugee, welfare draining thug driving on the "felony freeway" purportedly just doing what comes naturally and how lucky we are to have the boys in blue protecting us from this "element"? Now that it turns out to be A WHITE GUY COMING INTO THE CITY TO BUY HIS DRUGS AND CAREEN INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC, the cops are stupid, with too much authority and lets just legalize drugs.

White people huh....HAHAHAHAHAHA I know what happened see some young black males carjacked these two wonderful white citizens made them buy their drugs then made them drive recklessly on the expressway and ran off just before the police got there. It had to happen this way because white people don't do the kind of thing these two are being accused of they are all law abiding citizens of this great UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
