Schillerstrom is pulling out all of the stops to get his lackeys reelected. He wants to get Home Rule so that he can raise taxes at will. Do not vote for anyone Schillertrom supports.

County Board Member McMahon said "In fact, by holding (property) taxes down, we saved the taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars." The property tax levy was $59.8M in 2003,$59.8M in 2004,$59.7 in 2005,$62.2M in 2006,$64.2M in 2007 and $67.3M in 2008. Where are the "hundreds of millions of dollars" in savings?
